Pretty apparent that Kidd wants to keep Knight, and pair him with someone in the backcourt who can share PG responsibilities, which I'm ok with if that he means he plays off the ball.
However, that means we actually need a dude who can do all the things Knight cant do to even have a chance of it working, ala a Jones, Dragic, Rubio type.
Would be livid if we got Knight 2.0 in RJ.

Reggie Jackson had a career night against us for those who remember. Just thought I'd chuck that in there.

Offers still coming in for BK according to Berger. No bites, gee I hope they aren't to stubborn to see what's out there.

why do people keep wanting swaggy players back here. I guess people forgot all about Jennings and Ellis. Jackson is hot garbage.

Not sure if anyone touched this article in all of the trade talk mess, but I think we may end up with Thunders Reggie Jackson.

The Milwaukee Bucks are among those interested in Jackson, a league source said, and could offer either undersized scoring guard Jerryd Bayless, whose contract runs through next season at $3 million a year, or willowy power forward John Henson, who still has two years on his rookie contract, topping out at $2.9 million the second year.

Jackson, meanwhile, makes sense for the Bucks in their up-and-down style under Coach Jason Kidd and would add a player with postseason experience to a roster that has little and yet has hopes of being a force this spring. With 30 playoff games under his belt, Jackson has seen more postseason action than everyone on the Milwaukee roster except big men ZaZa Pachulia and Kenyon Martin.

Not exactly a Reggie fan but I'd lose no sleep over trading Bayless for him. I'd rather keep Henson however..

If we are trading Bayless and 2nd for a Reggie Jackson rental then I'm ok with that. Makes our team more explosive for a postseason run and aiming for that first round upset.

Hard to Judge how Jackson truly plays. He is stuck behind the best point guard in the league and in a contract year. So what ever playing time he has gotten he has chucked during trying to get his numbers up.

He was averaging decent splits when Westbrook was down and playing alright. Would be interesting to see what Kidd could do with him.

(plus maybe we need a point guard after we trade Knight for a big)

Bayless is what he is, he's been nice off the bench for us. Had some good moments also had some terrible hero ball moments. I see Reggie as a similar player but younger so id hold some hope he could be something half decent off the bench. Again I have no interest in trading anything like Henson or the clips pick but if it's Bayless, I'm fine with it.

Bayless + clips pick isn't end of the world.

You wont be picking a player better than Jackson at that pick in 3 years anyways

Pipedream scenario

Mayo + Clips 1st for Kanter
Bayless for Jackson
Ersan/Job for Thompson/Stauskas

Rotation:

Knight - Jackson
Middleton - Stauskas
Giannis - Dudley
Kanter - Thompson
Henson - Pachulia

I like Reggie Jackson (and Jon and Pashke love him) but see little gain this year and in the future trading for him. Would rather not risk messing up chemistry.

I'd be furious if we traded Henson to get Reggie Jackson.

Reggie Jackson is a better PG than Knight in every way

What is really the difference between Bayless and Jackson? A couple of years? And trading Henson for Jackson is a no no. I guess Jackson is basically an expiring.

Great players on great teams win titles. "Swag" is incidental.

I do not want to trade Henson for Jackson either. I can't imagine we're trading Henson at this point with Larry likely done. I've actually grown to like Bayless but if its him straight up for Jackson, I guess fine. If we're including picks, then I just assume keep Bayless. Its not like Jackson is that much younger, Bayless is 26 and Jackson will be 25 in April. What is the appeal of Jackson? His stats look pretty ordinary. Is he a good true PG?

They only trade Henson if they have a trade in place for Karter.

If we do trade for Jackson, then Knight had better be on his way out before the deadline for assets.
