How much cap space would we have if we dropped Ersan for an expiring?

Enough to make a serious offer to one of Monroe / Koufos / O'quinn / Kanter etc.?

Not sure where we are at post-Sanders.

Luke posted it about 20 pages ago. If we stretch Sanders and dump Ersan we're about $21MM under the cap counting Knight, Middleton & #18's cap holds.

So, yes. Easily.

@AlexKennedyNBA: Sources say the Bucks may be willing to move John Henson if he could help them make a splashy addition (such as Reggie Jackson/Ty Lawson).

I'm just starting to catch up on this thread from overnight but I love the Ty Lawson rumours. One of my favourite pure PG's in the league and I think he would be great with this squad. The fact the FO wants to put him "next" to Knight doesn't bother me as we all know Knight thinks he is a pure PG and only wants to be a PG, so with Ty here in the off-season, I could see Knight taking an offer from a team to be their PG. I would prefer to move Knight at his highest value now, but I would take having Lawson as our PG from next season.

If a good deal existed for Knight I would trade him now. But I believe FO will not. And to me if knight is not traded then I am going to accept team mostly as it is and be a fan and enjoy the rest of the season. I actually feel excited about advancing in the playoffs. So I don’t want to disrupt the team or great bench we have right now since there is no real prize to be had by trade this deadline. But a couple minor trades with our fringe guys might help now and the future. The 2 guys I’d move are Ersan & OBryant in conjunction with the LAC1st or a 2nd.

swap obryant and 1st-lac to -

ORL 4 OQuinn
BOS 4 tZeller
HOU 4 Jones
POR 4 Leonard & 2nd
PHX 4 Plumlee & 2nd

Swap ersan to -

DEN for McGee = bigger salary for 1 less yr
SAC for Williams(exp) & 2nd
HOU for terry(exp) & 2nd
