Hunter Pence is out 6-8 weeks with a fractured forearm.

It was fractured on Thursday against the Cubs on a HBP.

Our system stinks (That'll happen when you win 3 in 5), but I love seeing the kids we do have; specifically Arroyo, Crick, Mejia and Blackburn. Arroyo looks great.

It's also nice to hear Kruk an Kuip again.

Best start by Peavy during the summer putting in 5 innings for the win. I thought the Royals will win this game against us after how the WS ended, I guess not :P

Matt Cain threw 75 pitches on 5 innings in an AAA exhibition against the Cubs. It's good to see him pitching again to get back in top form. Any discomfort are expected at this point as he is recovering from his elbow surgery.
