It's quite embarrassing that people still believe this; Cousins, when you consider youth, impact, and skillset is the best big in the league bar none. Anyone on the Rockets outside of Harden would be up for grabs if he hits the market.

I think 99 out of 100 people would rather have Davis. You are the 1 that wouldn't. Cousins is not the best big in the L, and Davis is even younger. He's up there, though.

Wtf has Cousins done ? Besides be in the lottery each year. It could be management but the guy is good enough to at least peak at the playoffs. They have Rudy Gay, Carl Landry, Darren Collison.

Anthony Davis is by far the better player and teammate because he plays team ball and isn't selfish. Cousins is a very selfish player who IMO will find a way out of Sacremento and into a big matey where his big ego deserves.

Cousins might be the most skilled big aside Davis but there are guys like Gasol, Aldridge, and Drummond who I'd much rather build around.

Most fans need to stop with this nonsense. People like you who just claimed cousins should win more because of guys like Carl freaking Landry are the worst.

Love at Davis's next 5-7 best players compared to cousins. Then throw in the dysfunctional front office and coaching situation.

If Boogie does indeed get traded it's a shame, the Kings are turning into a joke. At this point in time Vivek is operating like a loose cannon, who the hell is going to want to play for him? Once they fired Malone you knew this guy wasn't cut out to be an NBA owner. Once they hired Karl you knew it was only a matter of time before he and Cousins would butt heads. Hoping Boogie lands in a better situation when this is all said and done.

Him and Rudy Gay should be enough duo to at least win close to .500.... Sure put Cousins where Davis is but I'd guarentee the Pelicans would not be the 8th seed and I'm sure the Kings could be close to it.

I’m honestly not surprised.

New ownership cleaning house is pretty common. They paid a lot for their new toy, they want it exactly how they envision.
Ranadive being a former Golden State owner wants a fast paced / shooting team like Golden State.
To make a center like Cousins a focal point, you have to slow the game down to half-court and work the ball from the low post.

This is the owner who wanted his coach to play only 4 on 5 defense so his team could cherry pick.

You do understand that new ownership signed Cousins to a max contract right?

If Knicks get pick 1 they will be favourites to draft for Kings and trade Cousins in a package deal.

I'm hoping Suns offer up a package, Pick 12 or 13 (2015), Morris twins, Alex Len, Eric Bledsoe, Heat pick 2018 for Cousins and a filler.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but Cousins' tweet referenced in OP came 2 days before Karl's comments and Bruski's comments (which specifically indicated "in the last 24 hours"). So is their some new conspiracy theory that connects these? Or is this just the usual "wild speculation because I want a top 10 player on my team and don't want to give up more than our spare trash to get it done" crap that are Cousins trade threads.

Don't worry Sactown the 7'5 guy and John Stockton's son are great pieces to build around.

Seriously. As a GSW fan I can't help but be amazed at how the ghosts of Warrior teams past are constantly haunting the Kings :noway:  Karl is the worst...I actually went to his basketball camp as a kid when he coached the dubs and he came back from lunch drunk every day :D

New rule: Everyone who has ever played, coached, ballboyed / GM'd / part-ownered / whetevered with GSW is barred from being part of Kings basketball operations.

Trading Cousins has to be getting higher profile as a world class screwup. Vivek should be shamed into selling the franchise if this happens. Just awful.

Kings next move should be real easy to guess: FIRE GEORGE KARL
Rest in peace Kobe & Gianna

The fact that the coach is saying anyone is available on the team says something. You don't lump Boogie with the rest of those guys.

Kings went 14-18 when cousins, gay and collison all played, 7-11 with just cousins and gay and...

5-17 when cousins was out (with wins over Indy in ot, Utah, Charlotte, twolves and the lakers)

That tells you two things. One, that cousins is a big difference maker and two, that the rest of the team is pretty bad without him.

Did you watch the interview? It wasn't a response to a question about boogie. It was about what they can do to improve the team. He mentioned you hope most comes from development but that you also look at trades and free agency. That's it.

Blowing this out of proportion and the trades etc are mildly offensive to Kings fans

Nothing here that suggests moving DeMarcus is imminent and folks have been focusing a lot on on Cousins situation with the Kings this year

We are trying to build the franchise up, and many of us view Cousins as a core piece

Too bad George Karl isn't included in that.

Umm explain how trade offers on a forum about a player on your team is "offensive" to you..
