yeah forgot about Bragg. I didn't see anything overly impressive with Lucas last year (granted i didn't get a chance to see a whole bunch of KU last year and when i did my primary focus was Oubre and Lex) you think he out right beats Diallo for the 5 spot?

He is bigger and is a guy with a nice touch, he is a Junior also, that counts, I actually expected Mickelson to start last season and he barely played, we will see if he rebounds this year.
Bragg should red-shirt.

No idea who Lucas or Mickleson are but Diallo is going to be a top pick in the next draft and he already can provide defense, rim protection, rebounding, and energy all at a high level so expect him to beat out anyone on the team.

Diallo is really thin for playing Center full time in the NCAA, I expect him to have a similar role to Cliffy's.

He is alot better at what he does than Alexander though and ready to step in right away in my opinion. The level of rim protection he will provide along with the defense, rebounding, and energy will not be able to be replaced by anyone else on the team. He is better at cleaning up and finishing around the basket as well.

I dont really think so, Diallo is rated similarly to Alexander in a weaker class.
And Traylor brings similar stuff to the table.

I believe youre miss judging Diallo, he will actually be a top pick unlike Alexander and rightfully so. We will see I guess but I have Diallo ranked very high.

I agree with Fisch on Diallo being thin for a full time Center role. He still hasn't put on much weight. Not to say he can't but that size or lack of it could end up being a problem. That being said, i can't see anybody outworking that kid. Soooooooo much effort he puts out and he comes across as moldable clay if the right coach gets a hold of him. I do think he can help his stock coming up.

Diallo is a much better athlete and a much better motor then Alexander..he's a beast in transition he glides for a big man up and down the court kinda like Ibaka..

He's still very raw and from what I've seen he's not much of a scorer especially in the half court but he seems to always give an effort and is fun to watch

Alexander is a man child that knows what to do all the time, I dont think Diallo is a better prospect overall, he is a better athlete, better leaper and weaker but he plays out of control and does stuff offensively that he doesnt know how to do, but he still tries and makes bad decisions all the freaking time, his motor runs too hot sometimes.
I dont really see Cheick been a much better prospect than Cliff when its all said and done.

Mychal Mulder, finally a shooter, to UK, if they get Murray, although I dont know if he will play in the 1st semester, Calipari will have 10 guys at least.

Alright, I will say it now. Youre defnitely mistaken. Completely different level of prospect than Alexander. Saying you dont think he is even a better prospect, you are way off.

Chris Mullin and his staff are building a roster very quickly. Those international relationships will definitely pay off for the Johnnies.

only kid i can remember there playing the 5 is Obekpa and he's undersized for the position but not enough skill to be moved to the 4 offensively.

I think G. Pap could/should start over him if he can show that he can handle the physical play aspect. If nothing else Mullins could find a way to play them together given Pap's pick-n-pop potential on offense and Obekpa's mobility on defense. They do still have talented wings that play bigger than they are if I recall though so that shouldn't be a necessity.

i think G. Pap starts though, if not right away then certainly before the calendar year ends. To talented not to i think. He'll have to adjust to playing the college game which i don't think will take long so I expect to see him getting ample time on the court.

There is a good chance for Diallo to kind of hide with Kansas having such a loaded front court. The less minutes he plays, the less scouts know about him / the more potential upside there looks to be.

Its like a tech start up with some of these prospects. For some start ups its better to have no revenue because they have more perceived upside.... if they run out and try and start making money and its hard, there is no valuation. Same with a prospect like Diallo, if he plays 15 mins a game and his efficiency is insane bc its against the opposing teams bench, he looks like a stud.
