Because that doesn't make any logical sense. Are you suggesting you don't think its realistic that he end up 6"11? Hes only 19, surely growing a few inches at his age isn't unprecedented.

2 inches is a hell of a lot for someone that is already 6'9" at 19 years old. I'd say that would be pretty unheard of. Realistic would be half an inch like Harkless reportedly grew. Though we haven't heard any "growth plate" stories about AG like we did with Harkless. I'd say any talk of AG getting much taller at this point is pretty much just wishful thinking on fans part.

I think AG is a Hybrid of Kawhi and Dryamond. His ceiling offensively would be Kawhi if he really improves his jumper all over the court, but a better playermaker then him (hopefuly). Defensively he is closer to a finished Kawhi product then a Dryamond product, guarding 1-3s with ease like Kawhi. Offensively I think next year you will see him start to look closer to Draymond now, pick and spot with a splash of playmaking hopefully in a few years he morphs into Kawhi. Defensively Dryamond can guard 2-5 with emphasizes on 4 and 5 (he is guarding Gasol alot now). I don't think AG will ever consistently be able to guard 5s but I can see 1-4 easily.

Basically with those comparisons I feel he will be in contention for DPOY every year in a couple of years. He has the tools and mentality to be there. Might be a question of who wins it first Elf or AG haha. The biggest thing with AG which we should find out next year is if he can become a consistent knock down 3 point shooter which gives us a small ball option and a ton of flexibility.
The hero Orlando deserves is out there somewhere, Dwight was not the one we needed. So we will hunt for him...

More and more we're seeing the small ball PF and it's working, see Millsap....See Draymond.....see Faried.....I honestly think Henny was doing his homework with Ag, seeing how the league is changing and how the game is evolving he got himself a player like those guys.

That is the case with the trend the league is going. The tweener term which was seen as derogatory is now evolving into the versatile forward term.

Exactly. This is the new direction of the NBA. Teams are changing their structure to the small ball style. There are very little "traditional PF" in this league and the number is declining every year with more teams going small. Aaron Gordon can play multiple positions so if need be, he can switch between that 4 and 3 position. I just want us to find a consistent lineup that will mesh together and win games.

That dunk should be officially coined "the 5 point play" if he can make it from 3 land

the only issue is how many times would Aaron have to attempt the shot before he makes one

thought that too....but yeah... that's part of its difficulty of the dunk... making it is not only it... but making it without clanking around on the rim too.

and also what if dwight howard did it by first sinking a free throw.... lol....mindblooooown. 10's all around! hha

I'm not seeing any growth spurts which means absolutely nothing. He'll probably be as good or better than Marion/DGreen/Kawhi.

So because he made a promo clip of hitting a shot and then dunking in practice he is going to be a star. Some of you people blow my mind.

Go to the trade board and look how other people view Aaron Gordon. (Spoiler: They dont think he is very good. Average might be a stretch.)
