If Karl-Anthony Towns is determined to get to Lakers, it'll be interesting to see how agreeable his camp will be to meeting with Minnesota.[/Tweet]

??? 76ers fans and I are happy. We have 2 bigs, plus Saric on the way next season. Russell/Mudiay is the perfect fit here. Hinkie (our GM) has tanked for 2 seasons and we've gone from absolute garbage team to a team with potentially Russell Embiid Noel pillars. lol @ yourself.

Danny Darko wrote:Well I think Towns is #1 all day long. Okafor is too similar to Pek and they have Rubio. They would have to be giant on Russell to take him.

So now i really don't know between Okafor or Russell.

Gotta think Philly loves Mudiay because he's a project with upside.

NY is actually looking good with either Okafor or Russell I would think.

I think its the Bynum vs Jefferson debate. I think the wolves may take Jefferson again in Okafor. They lack scoring and Rubio can't shoot, you want to be able to dump it inside. I think it is a coin toss. I won't make fun of the Knicks for smiliar reasons as I think the Sixers may take Muiday over Russell because Muiday is better defensively and more explosive. He can at the very least be a Steve Francis type of guy to excite a crowd and their fans.

I almost want Mitch to troll Philly and take Russell. Everyone knows that's who they're after.

Towns or Okafor will suffice.

Hopefully Okafor is a better fit with the young run and gun style of Minny.

Maybe the Lakers can make an Offer so they can get the pick they want.

Minny wouldn't care - In the day and age, teams don't care what the players want (and they shouldn't). If they want him, they'll pick him. Period.

Since he didn't àttend the combine, he could choose to not work out, be interviewed, or be medically evaluated by the wolves. Its a very easy play for all those who didn't attend the combine which was a dog and pont show where you get poked, prodded, interviewers, and evaluated publicly and every teams able to have the results. In years past most guys all went, but Towns, Okafor, Muiday, and Mario didnt

I'm totally fine with Okafor. He has talent and is an asset. Just get Hibbert here. And honestly Hibbert makes great sense as he's never been an over 30mpg nightly player so he won't bitch about minutes. He can also teach the guys how to play D inside and is cheaper than Marc, Love, DJ, and the like. He or Chandler should be who we seek out

Interesting. Two picks in a very strong first round this year. Should be fun to watch.

Lalakers need to be on the phone selling Hill, 27, and 34 for a pick in the teens if they can.

If they can't, let hill walk and don't exercise that option

I actually screamed and shrieked like a small child when our logo didn't pop up at 4. I've been dancing around my apartment since.

Holy hell. Glorious. Just, a happy moment for the last couple years we've had to endure and not getting Chris Paul. Huge.

Towns or Okafor. There's no other option. No Russell, No Mudiay. Put a big man down there. For those worried about Okafor's D, look at Andrew Bynum when he first came in the league. Nothing special athletically or physically other than the fact he was 7 feet tall with long arms. Okafor can grow as a defensive player.

I'll pass on Roy "I take games off" Hibbert. If we draft Okafor I'd much rather start him day 1 and fill out the rest of the roster on a need basis.

Can't trade Hill anymore without picking up his option I believe.

again it is crucial to get Tyson or Hibbert. Hill isn't competition that will improve either big. Bynum had Kareem teaching him, Kobe/Phil/Tex pushing him, but he also had Mihm and Kwame. No matter how you slight them, Mihm was an athletic big who blocked shots, could score, and was a souble digit guy before the ankle injury; also better than hill. Kwame was one of the best one on one post defenders the league had and strong as a fn Ox to the point he could defend Yao, Shaq, JO, or KG one on one nightly. If you want Towns or Okafor to improve and plan to keep them, get a big like Tyson or Hibbert who allows them and Randle to each see 30 minutes a night

In case you guys didn't know, Okafor's agent was Flip Saunders' college room mate.

woke up. went online and avoided all notifications because i didnt want to be spoiled. watched the draft lottery on youtube. and the Lakers got 2nd!!! i literally screamed and jumped hahahahaha. the basketball gods have spoken! what a fine day it is!

Towns preferrably and i do think the wolves might take Okafor. cant go wrong with either. but im just happy we get to keep our pick. we should package our other 2 picks. and get a wing.
