Yeah, he's another Tyler Ennis.

Not if Thibs is there. They won't take a guy who won't be able to learn their defensive schemes quickly. They'll likely keep E'Twuan Moore and draft someone like Terry Rozier, who fits their profile well. The Bulls like long players that can defend (that trend was broken last season with McDermott because they needed scoring). A guy that can defend off the bench takes pressure off of Rose. No way they take a guy that can't defend very well to back up Rose. If they're looking for extra play-making and scoring, this time they'll do it through other means. I think they like to pick a guy with upside that can grow into roles. Tyus doesn't have great upside.

Thibs doesn't make the picks. Paxon makes the picks and is very predictable.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

You say predictable? LOL, clearly you don't have a great memory or are confusing the Bulls with another team. Plus Paxson is no longer GM (as of like 5 years ago). Bulls management always works close with Thibs and he even usually goes to a bunch of scouting events. This long time Bulls fan disagrees.

Wolves pick Okafor, then trade their two second rounders for a mid teens first and pick Tyus. He returns home, and plays with his good buddy, and plays back up to Rubio. Time will tell if his intangibles make the jump to the NBA, and if he can survive playing in the man's game.

Remember, everyone said Curry was two slight to play in the NBA( including our idiot GM at the time who bypassed him and selected Johnny Flynn instead).

As a GS fan I thank Kahn for that.
I don't think two seconds have enough to get a 1st rounder. Maybe if Pek is thrown into a trade then I could see it

His skills translate because he excels in shooting and the pick n roll two extremely important things in today's NBA

You guys realize how many 6ft unathletic point guards that had intangibles have not been good in the NBA. Trey burke, Tyler Ennis, Jimmer, Eric Maynor, Acie Law, Dj Augustin, the list goes on and on. Tyus jones would be swatted if he even try to go in the paint,

Eric Maynor - 6'3
Acie Law - 6'3

Trey Burke is good, just not an all-star. Tyler Ennis has barely played a minute in the NBA (over exaggerating, but you get it), DJ Augustin could be a solid productive starter, etc.
These guys aren't superstars or even all-stars and will never be those things, but "not good?" That's ludacris. They aren't guys who'll storm into the lane because of their limitations, but if they can shoot threes, pass and they have a good handle, they'll make in in the league. If the league wasn't so stacked with point guards, I'd have no doubt Burke and Augustin would be starters.

trey burke shoots 37 percent from the field, acie law and eric maynor are out of the league,dj augustin is fast as hell unlike tyus so he has some value but your definition of good is wider than mine.

I'm not particularly high on him and I never was before he was drafted, but production says otherwise.

Career 12.6 PER, Sub .500 TS%, can't run an offense, can't defend, and historically bad shooting from the field. He's the definition of a scrub.

Sure he gets "his", averaging more field goal attempts than points per game, but make no mistake. He is terrible. The Jazz would've been a strong team if they had a decent point guard. But their backcourt killed them.

Since when is Tyler Ennis a bust? He's 20 years old with 400 minutes played in the NBA.

instant gratification sir. 19 year olds MUST come into the league as finished products and produce at high levels regardless of reps and touches and where they are placed in the rotation.

I don't think Ennis is going to be anything special in the NBA, but the comparisons of him to Tyus seems awfully lazy to me. Even as young as Ennis is, he was a year older as a frosh than Jones and not as good. And while Jones just kept getting better as the competition improved, Ennis got worse. And aside from stats, just watching them, Jones is the better play-maker, better scorer, and better prospect.

There's a really ugly desire among many to rashly label players busts for schadenfreude's and confirmation bias' sake.
