Don't agree? I just think some of their newer stuff has some influences from The Beatles and few other classic bands. Don't think I've ever told anyone I thought that besides now. It's my personal opinion either way. They were one of the first metal bands to really fuse a lot of extreme forms of metal into something somewhat cohesive.

Yeah sorry if it came off a little jerkish. I wasn't really sure what you were saying. They seem more like Dream Theater if I had to give them a comp though. May not be from the same era, but I can't really think of a better one.

1.-Saw "Jurassic World" and can't tell if it was good or sh$&. I'm leaning towards the latter.
2.-"What We Do In The Shadows" is an excellent satire/mockumentary. Think "Spinal Tap" with vampires.
3.-"Game of Thrones" finale was excellent. In fact, the season was brilliant. Particularly, the last 3 episodes.
4.-Anyone watch "Power" on Starz? Season 2 is 2 episodes in. I know I shouldn't like it, but I do. Like when my daughter and wife are listening to Megan Trainor. I know my foot shouldn't be tapping. It still does.
5.-True Detective reminder-Set your DVR for Sunday. Season 2 is coming.
6.-"We Are Still Here" is a brutal little horror movie. Acting was 60-70% of what I prefer, but everything else was solid. Worth a watch at least.
7.-Family movie weekend. "inside Out" here I come. Actually, looking forward to it. As "Ratatouille", "Up" and "Wall-E" all made my top 20 in their respective years.
8.-Had a bottle of Bonny Doon red blend 2011 Contra wine. If you're a wine drinker and like blends, I highly recommend it. I'm buying a case myself. It appears you can only get it on line.
9.-Is there still nobody who saw "Spy"? Someone's got to have seen it. You all are missing out.

3. Love Thrones. Once again another shocker or two in a finale.
5. Yes, I'll be interested to see if TD can follow the first season. Gonna be tough MC and WH were fantastic.
7. Looking forward to Minnions. My son loves them and he'll be only 2 so it'll be his first trip to a theater as it opens on his Bday.
8. I'll have to check it out. Also on the blends, if you haven't already, try the Apothic Red. It is delicious. Just had a bottle last night as it was 50 degrees.

. Was expecting it to be Kingdom Hearts 3, and then the backgrounds started to look familiar. Once they showed Barrett's gatling gun, I freaked out. FF7 was the game that made me go out and buy a Playstation. I was already 20 years old at the time, and had no more intentions of playing video games since I was old enough to drink and go to clubs. I thought I was too old to play video games. FF7 made me realize that I was probably going to be playing video games for the rest of my life.

Looking forward to "Minions". My daughter saw her first movie at just under 3. Good age to break them in.
Love Apothic. It's the very wine that got me into blends. Prior to that, I was a straight Cab, Pinot Noir, Chianti guy. Apothic is like eating a Hershey bar...smooth...I'm thirsty already

Haha so true. I am also a Zin fan. 7 Deadly Zins is great as well as Alghren Zin if you can find it.
