If somehow we could convince Kevin Love to sign, I'd draft Cauley-Stein, I'm convinced this is who Phil wants.
A front court of Melo,Love and Cauley-Stein I'm liking alot.
Start there sign either Carroll or D.Green and give Galloway a shot. Resign Shved and Amundson, go from there.

Drafting WCS at 4 is one of the worst case scenarios that could happen on draft day. We could always get a defensive center through other, less expensive means. Draft Mudiay/Russell. Grab a playmaker for the future. That lineup could use one.

Lebron is their playmaker they need finishers Tim and Calderon can do that. Ok maybe just Calderon but take Tim anyway.

I disgree. I know Timmy is the black sheep around here but the guy can hit the corner three, is amazing in transition and is actually a solid finisher. Considering what you just said about Lebron its highly likely that Timmy would look better there than he does here in NY. Definitely still a bench player but he probably wouldve been more reliable than Shumpert or Smith offensively. Not saying more prolific, but definitley more reliable from a percentage standpoint.

this has a pick coming back, a legit starter and 2nd scorer, and rotation players, and youth.
No allstar but Nurkic is a triangle big on a rookie scale that is a steal.

Lawson, Carroll, Melo, and Wilson to carrry the load until 2016.
It may be too much for Denver but #7 and Lawson is just not enough.

DEN traded mozgov because they're set on starting nurkic. he isn't going anywhere.

With the Nuggets reportedly interested in #4, would you guys trade Calderon and #4 for Lawson and #7? It would only add about $4 million to the payroll, and you'd still have room for a couple of eight-figure FAs. I'm thinking if you do that, you draft WCS at 7, sign two FAs like Monroe and Matthews, and go with WCS/Monroe/Melo/Matthews/Lawson. Thoughts?

We're under ZERO obligation to make Denver a better team by letting them draft 4th overall. Lawson didn't fit well in Brian Shaw's offense, and now we want to square peg round hole him into the triangle? Well done

If the Nuggest want to rid themselves of Lawson they can workout a deal with the Kings for all I care. I have no interest in dropping 3 spots in the draft just to get rid of Jose Calderon. That $4m will be a drop in the bucket compared to the increased capspace we'll have next year when the cap shoots up to ~$90m, plus (I cannot stress this enough) at the end of this season Calderon becomes a trade asset-expiring contract.
