Bingo. Nobody wants late 1sts. That 28th pick is useless. Teams would rather have an early 2nd and not have to guarantee a contract. These assets are extremely overrated.

Sad that we're at a point that we're hoping for a guy like Portis. Ugh. And the Heat being the ones to get Winslow just makes it sting so much more.

This happens every year...teams fall in love with their top 10 picks. They think they are all superstars and don't want to trade, making it near impossible to trade up.
