Kid never worked out for the Wizards. So much for getting a stretch four or a big man in the first round. We'll need a FA or two.

I don't know how I feel that Jalen Rose endorses Oubre to wizards.

Why not grab Portis there?

This Oubre says he's a jewel. I think he might be the jewel of EG's denial. :nonono:

Rumor, Wizards trade no. 19 and two future 2nds for Oubre.

Interesting. I like that EG had the balls to move up for the guy that he wanted. I'm a little disappointed that we didn't get Portis because of our need for a stretch four, but I do think Oubre looks like a good player who could have a long NBA career.

I'm very naive when it comes to college players. Any body with a profile and/or knowledge of Oubre?

But said Crowder was the 2nd best player a few years ago.....we shall see!

Yep -- it did have Crowder highly rated (I don't think it was 2nd, though). He would have been a nice pick in the 2nd round.

It was definitely 2nd or 3rd. He's a great player just hard to predict obviously in college......

That being said Oubre my god why.
