Stevens: Rozier has a gear that very few guys have. Translates defensively today. Can explode in the paint.

Wyc: Danny and Brad had Rozier in this range. Westbrook type speed. Probably the fastest guy in the draft.

Tried hard to move up. In answer to why a trade didn't happen: "We just about gave them the keys to the franchise in some cases." (So they did offer a lot according to Wyc, but picks are expensive now.)

Danny thinks he's so damned smart with his undervalued steals... He thinks he can draft the same guy every year like they're currency that can be cashed in somehow. And have the crowd here buys it.

Now smart is expendable so we can trade him for a jae Crowder replacement

Not really. Rozier is a rookie and won't get that many minutes anyway.

I think the celts realized it wasn't there night. Just took a chance on a player. Don't get your hopes up. Rebuilding takes years.

My net is the #28 pick has been traded so Danny wouldn't have gotten him any later

Lawson just said he's going to Sac.

Lawson
Mclemore
Gay
Cousins
WCS

.. Vlade has some damage control to do asap and probably slap Karl upside his head .. But that team is looking nice enough to keep Cousins next season.

Wait, where'd he say that? Maybe it's assets to DEN, Lawson to the Kings, Cauley-Stein here? Or Gay to DEN? Like what are the Kings going to offer?

Wyc on 98.5 pushing the idea of signing two max FAs together. This is the subtler version of *fireworks*

Is this a joke? 39.2 and 31 from the college 3. Can he even play?

yeah he's pretty damn crafty on offense.

That's what happens when you let guards run your whole front office.

Ainge is so freaking predictable. Drafts the blue collar guy who can barely bring the ball up the court but he's a "winner".

I've been told by some people on the internet that there is NO difference between the guy you can get at #9 (Winslow) and the guy you get at #16 (Rozier). Just focus on that last playoff spot.

You would throw away an entire season for Justice Winslow?

Not at all. That's not what I said. Or even implied.

The point is that the NBA is a league focused on premium players and draft picks. You maximize your chances to get them. Boston didn't do that. And they're paying the price.

Don't kid yourself. The Celtics are very disappointed tonight.

Good luck to Ainge trying to sell free agents to a team with 7 shooting guards on it.

Wow. Must have offered a ton to try and get Okafor at 3. At least that's how I'm taking that last comment since the 9 pick isn't worth all that.

LBF, what happened bud? The sources are borked or is a trade brewing?

Anyone want to guess which combo guard we pick at 28?
