There's no minutes for the kid Rozier. Somebody's on the move or he's spending the year in the D League.

Not really. Rozier is a rookie and won't get that many minutes anyway.

Not that good then.

Lawson just said he's going to Sac.

Lawson
Mclemore
Gay
Cousins
WCS

.. Vlade has some damage control to do asap and probably slap Karl upside his head .. But that team is looking nice enough to keep Cousins next season.

Wait, where'd he say that? Maybe it's assets to DEN, Lawson to the Kings, Cauley-Stein here? Or Gay to DEN? Like what are the Kings going to offer?

Google Ty Lawson. It's all over the place. He put out a video of him saying it while watching the draft.

.. And na. It's WCS and Lawson to Sac. Danny isn't robbing anyone here.

He better be explosive scoring. If not, he won't be playing.

This team has 7 SG on the roster. Is Ainge going for the YMCA championship?

Never draft for need in the draft. You draft for talent. Louisville has been a top NCAA team for a couple years with Rozier being their best player. Great athlete, excellent defender, very slippery getting into the paint, little AI to his offensive game (with the questionable shooting to go with the crossover dribble).

Rozier is a good pick, a bit of a reach, but you have to get your guys in the draft. That's all that counts.

And yet - very clearly, the Celtics didn't get their guy, despite desperate attempts to move up.

Well, they weren't able to move up. That's neither here nor there though. It's all about making a pick and taking your guy. If Terry Rozier becomes all the things that Avery Bradley is, but he can handle and get to the rim, finish and draw fouls? That's a damn good player to have.

The Celtics got more athletic and they bumped Pressey out of the rotation. They're better right away, and Rozier, unlike Portis is an elite athlete and has great upside. If he can become a knock down shooter? Sky is the limit.

I assume they'll want to play with Rozier.

It is both here and there.

That was the #1 goal tonight. They didn't get it done. Although you made clear how easy that would be for them to do.

What went wrong?

I'm hoping Hollis-Jefferson slides to 28 or I may vomit with who Danny picks next.

Celtics clearly aren't averse to drafting a guy who will be in Maine. They did it last year.

Because I'm sure they also would have wanted to play with Portis or Dekker.

I get being upset with the pick, but that is just a ridiculously silly statement.

I do love the idea of Pressey being bumped from the rotation.

Portis and RHJ are sliding. For the love of god, package the rest of the picks and move up to take one of them and salvage this draft.

In the end none of this matters anyway because the Celtics are not sniffing the finals until Lebron slows downs which is a good 5 or 6 years away.
