I really think Phil likes how the Spurs develop their team with international players. These are like Spurs like moves to me. Now can they develop them like how the Spurs do? We will see, that's the hard part, and something the Knicks sucked at doing for the past decade.

Two seconds for a quality draft and stash (by the looks of it), that's not bad. Phil acquired a few this past season and if he saw real potential there's no reason not to use them to get it. Late second rounders are tougher to hit on. I hope we buy another but I think Phil's done, time is running out and we have two rooks guaranteed plus Thannasis likely coming up...Maybe another draft and stash piece for cash, that couldn't hurt.
