The Portis and Nance tweets are cracking me up. I feel bad for Nance. You know Kobe aint gonna let that go. Going to be a looooong rookie year.

Nance does have tweets lauding Bryant in the same year, before and after. It'll definitely be interesting though. Maybe LNjr was joking and has no problem convincing KB of that. He'll get sh-- for it, whatever the case.

That TV broadcast last night was completely bitch slapped by Woj. When he was tweeting out that WCS was going to the Kings before the Knicks even had the card in on Porzingis was crazy.

That TV show though is nice ad money for ESPN and their sponsors and a good thing for the league. I'd have to think the league will come down on the other teams not to talk to Woj next year. It's one thing if we are talking an Adam Schefter where he tweets out the pick about 60 seconds before the podium in the NFL. Woj was not just breaking news last night, he was creating it.

what brings in more ad money though, 3.1million people watching the tv broadcast or 30million hits on a website

Jesus, Celtics offered 6 draft picks to move into the top 10 and were rebuffed, included multiple firsts.

Houston is a good fit for Dekker on one hand that he'd be willing to be the super-charged role player that Harden wants everyone else to be. He could maybe be a core a player, but we already know he's good in this role.

On the other hand, Ariza is under Houston's control for multiple more years, and Dekker is a lot like him. So maybe he doesn't play that much his first couple of years and when he does he's often redundant.

Golden State gets more Milwaukee ties. Stoked for Looney.

The TV money.

Internet advertising is a fraction of what print used to and broadcast does now.

Not just multiple, four first round picks to move up seven spots. There was no chance we could have gotten into the top 10 with our assets.

Almost 100% positive that included in that count of 1st round picks were some former 1st round choices. Think along the lines of Smart, Sullinger, though not necessarily both. Boston just overselling their attempt to save face. No doubt it was a poo poo platter including pick #28 and other quantity over quality offerings.

The articles I saw phrased it as Boston offering six draft picks with four being first rounders, but it very well could be them saving face.

Yes. The 4 first rounders don't necessarily have to be future 1sts. It's Boston spin to make it look like they went above and beyond to go up and get Winslow when all they really did was offer a ton of junk.

Highest ceiling at that point in the draft?

That sounds good if I make myself believe it. Who knows though until a few years from now.

I just want camp to start. See Jabari back there. The physical and mental improvement of the whole team.

Like the draft pick. Not sure on the trade but I'm leaning towards thumbs down. IMHO backup PGs at Vasquez's level can be bought cheaper.

No I think it's literally the 4 1st rounders they own next year, Dallas, Brooklyn, Minnesota , and their own.

Just to shift gears, CBS Sports has a first pass watch list for the 2016 NBA Draft: http://www.cbssports.com/nba/eye-on-basketball/25226149/nba-draft-who-to-watch-for-in-next-seasons-lottery

FWIW, Nigel Hayes made the mid-first watch list

Cant stand Karl. With a passion. Will never forgive or forget the Ray Ray trade. Regardless, all I see when I think George Karl is Grandpa Munster for some reason:
