I can confirm this rumor is hot. We really drove the point home during a late night meeting at Webb's: It was now or never. Back-up plans include Daniel Santiago, Dan Gazuric, and Francisco Elson.

is Brian Skinner still in play?

Skinner was in play early according to my sources. However, once we had an in to re-sign Marquis Daniels and Royal Ivey I'm hearing we coveted only one of these talented 5's to provide some versatility in an otherwise small-ball heavy line-up. Adding players the caliber of Daniels and Ivey, solidifying the skill and flexibility at our 1-3 slot, really brings up a greater question: Do we welcome Anthony Mason (RIP) back into the fold?

I'm in on either Monroe or Koufos. If we sign Koufos grab O'Quinn too

According to my sources, Reiner was actually the Assistant Manager at the DC Hilton where Bucks' brass met with Monroe. I could be wrong, but my guy has pretty good eyesight. Like, 20/30. That's not bad.

Cavs - They'll be better than us no matter what we do
Bulls - Same as above
Hawks - Only hope is Jabari/Giannis making the leap; Gotta see what they do this offseason though; already lost Carroll, may lose Millsap
Wizards - Definitely think we could surpass them
Raptors - We'll see what moves they make; don't think Carroll is a big difference maker
Pacers - Very incomplete picture right now; nothing outside of PG13 and George Hill (who's nothing special)
Heat - They'll be better than us provided Chris Bosh is healthy.

I'd say only the Cavs and Bulls (and Hawks if they keep Millsap) will be clearly better than us. Heat and Pacers worse, with us on about the same level as the Raps and Wizards

Which is funny because it ate up all their cap for LMA and all they have to trade to make it work is Beldsoe. The Blazers kind of committed $120mil to Dame today, so I don't see why they would take on Bledsoe, but crazier things have happened.

I'm pretty sure our FO is fapping to the thought of adding Monroe to this core considering they met with him at like 3 in the morning. Have to imagine he is preference #1 for us

I'm very confident we will be better than the Raptors.

If the Hawks lose Milsap in addition to Carrol, I think the Bucks have a probability of being better than them. The Heat? Depends on Wade. Pacers? Depends on what happens with West, Hibbert, Monta Ellis. I think we could very well end up better than the Wizards. Too early to tell, and partially dependent on Paul Pierce. Bulls? Depends on health of Rose and/or Noah.

Lots of things in flux right now.

Sources indicate the Bucks are prepared to offer a full Merkt's spreadable cheese sampler to free agent forward Jiri Welsch. More to come.

Most of where we'll fall on that list (outside of health) depends on which of Parker/Giannis/Middleton/MCW gets better and by how much. That could shoot us way up or way down that list. And I'm fine with that.

The fact that Monroe to the Knicks hasn't been announced yet has to mean the Bucks are still in the race.

I wouldn't have given Chandler 4 years. I'm not to excited about giving a max deal to Rolo either. I'd just make an offer to O'quinn and roll with him, Henson and Zaza next season.

The Raptors got worse based on today's moves. Losing Amir > Getting Carroll. They have no one who can defend a big now, at all.
