Post#1 » by rickrolled » Sun Jul 5, 2015 12:58 pm

2016 first round draft pick from Brooklyn
Brooklyn's 2016 1st round pick to Boston [Boston-Brooklyn, 7/12/2013]

2016 first round draft pick from Dallas
Dallas' 1st round pick to Boston protected for 1-7 in 2016, 1-7 in 2017, 1-7 in 2018, 1-7 in 2019 and 1-7 in 2020 and unprotected in 2021 [Boston-Dallas, 12/18/2014]

2016 first round draft pick from Minnesota
Minnesota's 2016 1st round pick to Boston (via Phoenix) protected for selections 1-12; if this pick falls within its protected range and is therefore not conveyed, then Minnesota will instead convey its 2016 2nd round pick and 2017 2nd round pick to Boston [Minnesota-New Orleans-Phoenix, 7/27/2012; Boston-Phoenix, 1/9/2015]

In addition to those we get the Cavs,Heat,Sixers and the better of DAL/MEM 2nd round picks. Our own 2nd rounder goes to one of UTA/MEM.

I sure would like to see some reputable folks saying the 2016 draft is supposed to be strong, or at least average. Chad Ford says it is a weak class.

If Dallas plays bad and they get 1st to 7th pick, then Dallas keeps it but if that is 8th, then Celtics gets it?

Exactly, if it's outside the bottom 7 we get it.

Let's hope T'Wolves make playoffs, Nets tank with a million of injuries and Dallas struggles but finishes with 38 wins.

Update on the Twolves roster:

They withdraw the QO for Hummel making him unrestricted. And signed Bjelica to a 3 year deal.

Only way the Wolves make the playoffs is if their medical staff learned how to reverse aging and they trot out a 26 year old KG out there.

They could finish 13th or 14th and not move into the top 3, we get a late lottery pick.

If Rubio and Garnett play well and Towns is legit, there's a small chance they pull a Utah and slide into that 12-14 range.

Dallas pick could run the gamut of being a late late first to being a late lotto. Good news is that they can have a bunch go wrong, but Jordan and Carlisle alone will keep them out of the bottom 8.

The Nets are a JJ salary dump and one stroke of bad luck from giving the Celtics a top 5-7 pick. Which I hope to heck is the case so we don't have to listen to another year of tears from the tank crowd.

We talking about the same Chad Ford that goes back and edits his mock drafts/rankings years after so he can look credible?

Problem with Minny is if they are just outside the 8th seed but mathematically eliminated, they will likely pull a Miami and pull out all stops to at least drop to 12 to keep the 1st rounder.

You do realize baiting comments like this prolong things, right?

There's just no way the T-Wolves even sniff the playoffs. I'd be surprised if they won 30 games.

Seriously.

For that to happen Towns would have to have an all-time great rookie year and Wiggins would have to take an Anthony Davis-esque second year leap.

Mavs re-signed Barea for 2 years, and signed Jeremy Evans to a 2 year deal.
