Re: David Aldridge/Woj: Wiz sign Alan Anderson (1 yr/$4 mil)
Mike Prada has a chubby for him, had a lil back and forth with him on it. I just don't see how this move makes sense unless they think Dudley is about to play 20-25 mins a game at the 4. which I can't imagine will be good for defensive glass.
Would have much rather they gave that money to Biyombo...but no...they get held hostage by David Friggin West. No vision foresight...

Anderson is a very good fit for you guys. Hard nosed, team first, passionate. An emotional leader type of guy for fans and players. He ranks 6th among SGs in DRPM. He's capable of exploding for 20 point performances here and there. He also makes big shots.
His downsides are usually doing a little too much with his ball handling, shot selection and his age at 33. He priced himself out of the Nets hands. He's definitely a huge upgrade to the bench for the Wiz. Good luck.

Finally agree with you on something!
Yeah, had to pull a "WTF?" on this one. In a vacuum, I don't mind the $4M for a guy with his background in this Monopoly money climate. But when you consider who we already added and that we needed that money for bigs, it's tough to support this. Unless there's a trade, of course. Let's see.

It looks the Wizards are going forward with a lot of small ball lineups that gave them a lot of success in the postseason. Unless a trade is coming

Dude don't even use the wordy chubby in the same sentence as Prada. I got banned from bulletsforever for using the phrase "butt buddy".

Hmm. I figured it would be more like this:
PG - Wall, Sessions
SG - Beal, Anderson, Neal, Sessions, Wall, Oubre, Porter, Dudley, Temple, Webster
SF - Porter, Dudley, Anderson, Neal, Sessions, Temple, Webster, Beal, Wall
PF - Nene, Dudley, Humphries, Porter, Oubre, Webster, Temple, Anderson, Beal, Blair

You're not exactly missing out on the highest level of wizards banter from bulletsforever. Lotta casual fans who are willing to blindly believe in KD2DC. The place has its utilities but discussion isn't one of em. I remember when one of their author's tried to justify trading a future 1st for Stuckey

Yeah, I had no problem with the Neal and Dudley signing but this just doesn't make sense. I hope the front office has some sort of plan here but its hard to see what it is.

I got banned, then he sent me a PM with the entire rules and terms of services, made me agree to them again...anyway that's how I ended up here.

Here's JMichael to parrot the Official Wizards Rationale:
http://www.csnwashington.com/basketball-washington-wizards/talk/how-latest-wizards-signing-proves-its-all-about-lebron
I don't buy it. We already had Porter, Dudley, Temple, and Webster to throw at LeBron -- with Oubre being groomed in the wings. Besides: LeBron didn't kill us in the playoffs; mobile bigs did.

As CSNwashington.com reported Sunday, the Wizards were intent on loading up on wing players to contend with LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers, who won the Eastern Conference last season. The Golden State Warriors, who beat them in the finals, had success by throwing multiple wing defenders at him: Andre Igoudala, Harrison Barnes and Draymond Green. All three also had three-point range and wore down James who was rarely as good in fourth quarters.

JMichael is a dumpster fire of a human being void of rationale reason or thought. Nothing he says is worth entertaining.

Hmm. I don't pay much attention to Buck's Twitter account. Has he *ever* criticized a Wizards personnel move?

Hilarious.
So the wizards will defend the Cavs' front court of LBJ/Love/T. Thomp/Sideshow Bob with Jared, neal, and Alan Anderson?
