Winning wasn't the foremost factor into DJ's initial decision. He wanted to feel wanted and important, and be around guys he could get along with.

If winning was his primary desire, it's clear the Clips are setup to win now compared to the Mavs. But Cubes knows how to gush over players and DJ liked being acknowledged as a franchise player that a team can build around. I really hope DJ has some pride and stands by his decision by making the Clips eat crow.

Doesn't have a verified checkmark which Matthews' profile does have. Fake.

Just checked, tweets don't have the verified check next to them when you open them up like that and there's no other accounts with that name on Twitter, don't think that's even possible. Was probably real, but deleted.

Dammit this whole deal has me wondering....

I asked my girl if she would let me do her in the butt and she said yes only after a moratorium, which I thought was a fancy word for an enema or anal bleaching.... now I'm not so sure.

Brad Turner @BA_Turner
Was told Dallas owner Mark Cuban and Chandler Parsons will meet with DeAndre Jordan, per source.

I wonder if Cuban will still think DJ can be a franchise player.

That would be a blessing if Matthews backs out too. Even if he didn't I would withdraw the offer if I'm the Mavs. Go all out for the #1 pick.

Dallas 2016 pick is top-7 protected and owned by the Celtics...so that would be **** stupid.

If the pick is in the top 7 the Mavs keep the pick sooo, no it wouldn't be **** stupid.

I'm sure Cuban will sue

No he won't. He won't harm the league over this. And one owner suing another ain't good for business.

teams recruiting players who have already verbally committed to another team harms the league.

I understand why the Clips are doing it, but it's also cowardly and unethical on their part to not respect the previous agreement that had been laid down. It's going to hurt their reputation going forward and if it doesn't prompt a reprimand, I bet it will at least prompt a rule change of some kind.

Again, it's DJ who backed out of the agreement, not the Clippers. He initiated this entire drama. If he doesn't flip-flop on his decision, we're not having this conversation right now.

I get that RealGM has a hate-on for the Clippers, but you really have to be reaching to blame the organization for DJ's cowardice.

They would both be to blame, DJ for poor decision-making, Clippers for taking advantage or creating an environment to allow it. It is a two-way street.

Nope. Believe me, I wish the Clippers would have told him to go screw, since he's not worth the money, but you can't punish an organization for meeting with a player who's still a free agent.
