The only currently active Turkish player born in Turkey you have to actually respect for his achievements.

I like Casillas. Always liked.
It's not everyday a legend of Real Madrid and Spain, the capitan of the european / world champions national teams of Spain, one of the best GK of all time comes to the Portugueses League.

And fortunately he is coming to my team.

The last 2 years he hasn't been that great, but that doesn't mean he isn't still great. Like i said before age doesn't matter that much for a GK.

And Porto needs a GK.
Brings attencion, quality, excitment...

Why are UK media so biased when it comes to Liverpool?

When players like Gerrard, Owen, Torres and Suarez want to move on they get slagged off because HOW CAN YOU LEAVE THE MIGHTY LIVERPOOL. You never heard that when Campbell, Carrick, Berbatov, Modric wanted to leave for bigger clubs, despite the fact that Spurs were/are at a similar level as Liverpool are now.

It's so boring listening to Carragher and other ex players making Sterling an evil villain/scapegoat. Lads, he wants to play in the CL and earn more money. What's the problem with that?

the world cup almost made me cry for him when he was embarrassed. but my favorite was his illegal throw in vs Juve :)
I hope he does well at Porto, and I think he can

History...

But for real, from a Spurs fan perspective its pretty awful, considering 'Pool have finished ahead of Spurs in the table once in the last 6 or so years.

Cabaye to Palace. I'd have liked him at the foxes.
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders

Wait, really? Jesus, what a coup for Pardiola. Palace could be top half next season.

Well they've had an offer accepted. He hasn't agreed terms yet so there's still a chance for someone to jump in, West Ham are also interested but they really aren't anymore interesting than Palace are they?

Well, they are. Will move to the Olympic stadium next year and are historically a bigger club. Won the World Cup in 1966 etc.

although perez got us the decima, i cant say im happy with the way hes done so, hes let go of raul, guti and now casillas and possibly ramos... with those four gone and noone but carvajal who hasnt been around that long left i dont think i can say its real madrid anymore... if casillas and ramos leave its going to be marcelo or ronaldo wearing the armband and thats just not right despite them being excellent players for the team, they're not fit for captaincy, its a sad day and im enraged to hear that iker is leaving, De gea will have to do a lot to earn my respect since i mostly blame his inconfidence at keeping up with casillas and not willing to take a rotation spot and earn his starting role when he asked that iker be sold...

Its a very dark day when we let go of one of our own to make room for someone from atletico :/

historically smaller than Preston then!

West Ham and Palace are much of a much ness. If anything the Hammers are on the down and Palace on the up IMHO. :D

Couldn't any of Liverpool/Spurs/Everton/Southampton find a spot for him? Can't believe nobody in the top 6 stepped in

Fair play to Pardiola though

Definitely history, doesn't help that most pundits today are ex-Liverpool players. The only ex-Spurs off the top of my head is Redknapp(who was also ex-Liverpool) and Hoddle.

Also, most Liverpool fans have these incredibly high expectation of loyalty towards their club. Despite them being horse shite for the last 20 years or so, they expect these players to believe that it's not gonna get any better than where they are.
