Tortious interference with a contract. If you're told that you have to communicate with the attorney/agent, you don't get talk directly to the client in order to get what you want.

Good luck with that. You'd need DJ to say he didn't want to be contacted.

No you wouldn't. Insurance companies tried settling cases directly with clients and were held liable regardless of whether the client was willing to talk to them.

If either of those were available, maybe. DJ agreeing with Dallas caused a domino effect which thinned the center market.

He's earned that mistrust though I guess

This is like something out of a BET sitcom where the black girlfriend is afraid that her man will leave her for that tempting white blonde with the booty.

I mean, I know Chandler is known as Handsome Kawaii Parsons in some circles, but this is ridiculous.

Or maybe, it's Cuban's more mature type that Doc is worried about.

What is best for the NBA is that he goes back to LA and we have 4 powerhouse teams in the west in GSW, SAS, OKC, and LAC. Cause with Jordan or without him the Mavs are not competing with those other teams. I just want a great playoffs especially in the west considering all injuries that happened. Jordan in LA does that for all of us.

Would be outlandish if it happened in that.

This is simultaneously insanely embarrassing for the Clippers and necessary.

Uh that's a completely different context/circumstance, they're protecting the clients from financial harm. Whats the harm to DJ? Bigger contract? More money?

Do you really expect Fegan to sue over this? Please make a bet with me.

What a massive circle jerk this all turned out to be. Of course DeAndre's going to cave in when you bring in the whole team to guilt trip in with all the feels being thrown around. Clips had their chance to make DJ their priority last week and **** the bed, now they resort to strong arming tactics and emotional prostration. I'm holding out hope that DJ is just committing the ultimate troll job and chooses to F the Clips over at midnight.

If the Woj tweet about them not letting the agent into the house is true, then yes. He almost has to at that point.

+1. There must be a valid contract to establish a tortious interference claim. Good luck proving that, especially in light of the fact that, during the moratorium, players and teams may negotiate terms, but may not agree to such terms.

And, if any contract was tortiously interfered with, it wasn't Fegan's agent-principal relationship with Jordan, but rather Jordan's agreement with the Mavericks. How could Fegan bring a TI claim against the Clippers if he has no privity?

Is this for real? Bruh

Kidnapping him basically and keeping others out of the house

Some boundaries are being crossed

Cant wait for the DeAndre rule : Cannot force a player to sign a contract by cornering player in their own home.

Wait no, it should be named the Clip rule
