Al for KMart + Bennett + Dieng works. We solidify wing production, add a rim protector in exchange for taking on about 12 million next year.

I'm starting to really like our team, but Obese Albert is really a black mark. He could ruin the offense and flow. I hope he has a first half of 2014 kind of year, or else he will be a net negative

Al, Marv, Roberts expirings for Parsons' 1 more and Harris' 2 more. Rebuild initiated.

EDIT: Of course, the cap space would be good to have next year. If BRD gets over his love of Marv and Al, I'd be happy to see them as situational players until they expire.

I think it would take a first round pick to trade for Dieng, I'm not sure he's worth that to us. That said I wonder if they'd go for Budinger and Dieng for Marvin and a lottery protected first?

McHale loves Capela.

Sadly enough, so am I.

We're just getting greedy in the entertainment dept.

I think Dieng likes the ball a little too much. He'd work alright with Zeller, not so much with Frank.

Montrezl definitely isn't lacking when it comes to athleticism.

The dunk at the 1:30 mark is freaking ridiculous, he demolished that poor kid.

The price is a mystery but they definitely can afford to spare a center with Towns in the fold. Dieng's dinky salary also is a huge plus heading into 2016.

How about PaJamas + 2 NJ second rounders?

I think that's fair considering Biyombo's market.

I am not ready for Kmart = Kevin Martin yet. Kmart is Kenyon Martin.

Brian Roberts to the Lakers for Center Robert Sacre. Or a future 2nd to the Lakers for Sacre.

I'd rather keep B Rob or the 2nd rounder than have Sacre.

I like the idea of a Budinger + Dieng package. Backup SF and C are our biggest positional needs. Rim protection and overall defense are our biggest skill needs. I think I'd definitely give up a lottery protected 1st for that at this point. I'd probably go as far as adding PJ and one of our extra future 2nd rounder to that package. Our roster would look pretty complete after that trade and adding a 15th man, probably a big.

Kemba/Lin/Roberts
Batum/Lamb/Daniels/Harrison
MKG/Budinger
Cody/Frank/Adrien
Al/Dieng/Hawes

I'd actually be decently excited about that.

Dieng gave up 55.8% at the rim last season, which is pretty bad. Al only gave up 54.7%. He does have a high contest %, but IMO that FG%A is concerning if you are banking on him being a sure thing as a rim protector and including picks or other assets to get him.

He's also 25, turning 26 this season, so you can't bank on much improvement from him at this point.

I thought he was younger than that. Nevermind.

That's got sketching to do with the guys around him as well, but a lot if wolves fans soured on him this year.

Pj and those NJ picks won't be used. Dieng would def get some assignments and play some meaningful minutes

why would Minnesota want PJ??

They would probably like to ditch Pekovic and his crappy contract but there is no need for them to throw Dieng away
