I agree with you all us pacer fan need to appreciate everything he has done for the organization. Without him we would have never had the success we had. Despite all his flaws, he was a great guy to have for 7 years. Without Roy, we simply wouldn't have competed in the Eastern Conference these last couple years as we did. We wouldn't have beaten the Knicks in the playoffs without Roy's posterization of Carmelo, nor taken the Heat to the brink without Roy's verticality in the playoffs. Don't forget the good things he did in the community, as well. Certainly hope he gets his confidence back, consistently, and wish him well the rest of his career. Certainly seemed like it was time for everyone to move on, though, especially with Myles Turner coming in here. Seems a lot like the whole "move Dale Davis to bring in Jermaine O'Neal" or "move Jermaine O'Neal to bring in Roy Hibbert" kind of moves. At least, let's hope.
