More like they astronomically overrated HSV.

Frankfurt 6th is weird. Veh is a downgrade from Schaaf. Wolfsburg will struggle big time if they sell De Bruyne. They underrate HSV and Stuttgart as well.

Veh is actually able to play a style which includes defense and that's a must coaching a team like Frankfurt.
I don't think Wolfsburg will sell de Bruyne and if they do, they'll spend that money on other players.

HSV barely escaped relegation battles with the 3rd placed team of the 2nd division two years in a row and hadn't been good before that as well and they still list them at #10.
Stuttgart was fighting relegation these past two years as well.

If either of them finishes somewhere between #10 - #12, while staying away from those relegation spots most of the season, it should be conisedered a good season and step forward in the light of those last couple of years.

But of course, one could talk about challenging for what not and trying to take the third step before doing the first one.

I think we'll be better than that. Don't think we have a great team, but it's more talented than a few teams ranked ahead of us and if Dardai shows he's a good coach (which I still doubt) we might actually have a nice season.

How do you rank Werder at 7 btw? They just lost their only scoring threat.

Schmelzer is so garbage...even against freaking Wolfsberger AC.

I think he has a pass accuracy of 50% and a cross accuracy of 0%.

The league is so close. One season you fight, next season you fight for Europe. Labaddia is a top manager and proved it once again last season. Now he had a full pre season with the team. Ekdal and Spahic are top class signings as well. 2 of the best signings in Germany this summer.
Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett, Toni Kroos, Pep Guardiola, Ernst Happel, Joachim Löw.

Yeah sure, you could have a run and finish somewhere in single digits like others have shown.
Though, you're not in the categorie of that Gladbach team in 2011/12 cause the reason you've been playing relegation wasn't because your complete defense was missing half a season.
And you're also not Augsburg or that Frankfurt team coming back from the 2nd Bundesliga, cause they've been built and had time to grow.

You've been in the relegation playoff for two straight years and fighting relegation before that cause you're management has sucked a$$ for quite some time and has made awful decisions throughout these past couple of years.
On top of that you're personell and player movements have been crazy as coaches, sporting directors and players have come and gone in bunches with no real plan how to built something.

That's why trying to built something and playing a season like Cologne did last year would be a huge step forward in establishing HSV as anything else but relegation material for the future.

Spahic and Ekdal are nice but the Bosnian is fighting stewards even more then his opponents and will turn 35 when the season starts. If you're lucky you'll get one or maybe two good years(if you're extremly lucky) out of him.
Ekdal hasn't played in the Bundesliga and I'm not sure why you're going so nuts about him. It's not like he's played for a huge club in Italy or was sought after by top clubs.

Those two are good signings but they've got to be leaders again(as new players) and I'm not sure if they're able to take over immediatly given that there's no real core of a team so you can easily put guys in and let them just do their thing.

Also, Labbadia's a good coach but so far he's shown to be able to get stuff done during the first half of season while really going downhill(and being fired) in the second half.
I do hope you just keep him and let him do his thing, cause that would probably mean a finish somewhere between #11 - #14 and a big step towards building something.

BTW: Why the hell are you OK with your club selling yet another one of the few youngsters and replacing him with a guy that won't be there within a year or two?
Those moves just don't make any sense at all, no matter how much everyone seems to love Beiersdorfer in Hamburg.

They really should outsource this meaningless cup to China or India to generate more interest on one of the worlds biggest markets btw.

your team's existence and importance to bundesliga is as much as Gala's to bundesliga. So go figure.

funny thing is. you would've written how bayern dominates the bundesliga and how there is only one team in the bundesliga, if bayern were to win it. now that wolfsburg won that cup, you had to change your agenda.

also, i am all for outsourcing that cup to promote the league. wolfsburg may not be the big draw right now, but having bundesliga teams play in an official game in big markets would definitely draw attention. moreso if bayern is involved.
