The tenderness that was involved in making sure certain psyches weren't too bruised while also allowing a leeway of protection in regards to his value. I think the execution on everything Castro related has been phenomenal, underrated really. Bravo to Jed and Theo and it hasn't gotten enough credit because the leeway of protection is still in effect and will be until he is no longer part of the team.

Many teams could've easily botched the situation, lost value in Castro, demoralized him into a worse player than he already is or erupted a level of frustration that would've been a cancer to the rest of the guys. This way he can be part of tbe team, THIS YEAR without really losing much value. With Baez's personal stumbles, we need Castro at second. If he plays well to end the season or even becomes some type of a hero in the playoffs, he could raise his value and give something in return in the off season.

Hendricks and Samardzja. Kyle has been getting banged up pretty good his last few starts but getting massive run support. He needs settle back into how he was throwing the ball last month.

Long for the days of every game on around the country on WGN. Miss seeing my CUBBIES!

Unfortunately, Those days are long gone and WGN is slowly getting cut out of the loop on all games since they no longer can get them drastically below market value. I'm upset about WGN eliminating national broadcasts of the games they still go get to televise. It is nice to see people in charge of the Cubs who are putting the organization first. Instead of corporate interests of the Tribune Company coming before the team.

Just ran into some ridiculously good pitching today. Has to end at some point. Still have 3 more outs.

It'll be even worse when the Cubs are free to start their own network. Get ready for that one.

Missing the Cubs on WGN Radio the most. The games feel less local and more mainstream now.

This has been a wild game.

I always feel like the Cubs are going to come back and win these days.

At this point we have so much talent its plausible to think we can make a deep run.

Can't believe its all come together. And for as much attention as Bryant and Babe Schwarber are getting - I have to wonder if Addison Russell will be the best of them all.

He's like a young Jeter.

Glad the Cubs took another 4-game sweep against a bad team. This week could be ugly on the road.
