Sign him up now imo.

There is no reason to wait, he's only getting better and will cost us more this offseason.

Letting the market dictate his value seems like the right idea but our FO probably wouldn't match.

I'd rather pay MKG 5/75-80m than TT.

A million times this. He's the best player on the team. Offer him a Hayward contract now, since we can't offer a 5-year deal below the max till next summer.

I highly doubt they will. Realistically, there won't be a better player we can sign for the money we'd spend on him.

They would trade him at the deadline before letting him walk for nothing, I imagine. I think the most likely scenario is that he is simply re-signed.

The best player on our team for 13 million a year with the cap going up is wonderful. Especially if he starts hitting corner 3s.
