Well, they could have waited 3 more weeks to suck, that way I would lose interest just before the magic start. The magic have ruined me. I refuse to care about teams once the season is already out of hand. Just wait for next year. Hopefully the magic don't disappoint...

can we still make the playoffs although it seems unlikely especially with Kaka missing 2 games.

What is it based off. Total points or games won/lost?

thanks.

Not done yet, but we're teetering.

If we don't take all 3 points against Chicago, I'm counting out our playoff chances.

No Molino and Brek caught up to us.

I have not been inspired by our transfer window moves.

How are the points calculated. Goals scored to goals given ratio?

3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie. That's it.

Our roster is not very good right now. I think making the playoffs was a reasonable goal but too much has worked against us. We had key injuries and no one really ever stepped up. I hope our recent moves show some improvement soon.

Honestly I think we are done. The teams ahead of us have played less games than we have and have much better talent on the field right now. I see it as extremely unlikely that even if we play much better than this crap that we will even catch them. We are tied with Montreal for 6th I guess, but Montreal has played an incredible 4 less games than we have. I don't know how that's possible but that's the case and they clearly have a much better team that we have. NYC has the same points we have but they have much better veteran talent right now. 5th place New England is 6 points ahead of us and have played 1 less game. 4th place Toronto has the same points as New England but have played 2 less games than us, this is also the team that have trashed us on 3 separate occasions. So in conclusion its over. Its been a combo of things: injuries to Brek Shea and Ramos have hurt a ton. Shea is a vet and dynamic player that is physically imposing. Ramos has been our best defender. Young designated guys like Rochez have done diddly squat. Terrible officiating, our players have developed a bad rep so many games red carded. Lineup that is constantly changing. Failure to add top level talent before the transfer window ended. All the guys added haven't had much of an impact. Worst defense in the league. Its been a combo of things. Some major changes need to happen for next season, an influx of legit talent is needed.

Montreal has played fewer games because of the CONCACAF Champions League early in the season. Even though we're on equal points with them, I'm really not worried about them (even with Drogba). They don't have an easy finish.

It's funny that 3 points on Saturday puts us (technically) in 6th again even if we've played more games than other teams.

We're basically in a dogfight with NYCFC though even though Philly and Chicago are right there.

I was surprised to see Chicago beat the Red Bulls, but that also means that this is a short week for the Fire and we need to pounce on them early and often.

Another missed opportunity. Maybe playoffs next year if we can get Kaka some real help. Get some real talent here.

At least we ended the slide. Need to add some talent next season, get some defenders and some depth up front

It must be frustrating for Kaka'. He and Molino would have been a totally different scenario. Larin has skill no doubt but needs to become a better passer. The crafty play of Molino will be a difference maker next year.

So what's the deal with rochez, is he healthy? ...and Carlos, dude, I want to like you brother but you're killing me.
