Foye wrote:Actually, that red card for Tyton might be a blessing in disguise. I never understood why for all these years now Vlachodimos never got a chance despite mediocre Ulreich. Vlachodimos has played in Germany's under NTs for a couple years in a row. He can't be that bad but he is rotting on Stuttgart 2nd team and bench for years. Now he'll at least get the Hertha game to show himself.

Oh yes, I was also happy for him to finally get a shot to prove himself. If I remember correctly, he was one reason why they decided to sell Leno because they thought Vlachodimos was a younger and even better prospect.
I'm a bit worried though because there are reports that Zorniger now thinks they need another GK as an insurance. I don't understand it though because Tyton is going to get a ban for one or at most two games. The probability of a GK getting injured is not that high and it should work for the next one or two games.
Absolutely crossing my fingers that Vlachodimos remains in goal not only for the next match(es) but also long-term. Having played as a GK myself, I enjoy seeing a young guy getting a chance and doing well.

Germans refs are the worst.

They all seem to have an agenda against one certain club.

Aytekin = HSV and Wolfgang Stark = Dortmund are the 2 most clear examples.

I really miss the days with Markus Merk and Herbert Fendel.
Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett, Toni Kroos, Pep Guardiola, Ernst Happel, Joachim Löw.

Seriously? All refs have agendas? And German refs are the worst? Italy, man. And many other leagues honestly. It has more to do with the money on the game than some kind of conspiracy against specific clubs, lol.

Italian refs are the best in CL imo.

The worst thing is when refs in Germany only add 2 minutes despite non-stop time wasting and slow substitutions during the game.

Watched that Spahic foul and red card yesterday. I agree that it was complete bs, Emir layed one hand on Modeste and the dude flopped so hard.

Dortmund up on Hertha at the half, 1-0.

Aytekin doesn't have an agenda, he just sucks at what he does.

Funny how there is a reason to send Spahic off almost every single game and Aytekin sends him off in the one game where he didn't give him a reason

What team play from Dortmund! Aubameyang will never score an easier one than that.

Dortmund are looking good. Hertha cant challenge them. Not enough quality on the wings.

Interesting editorial on EPL spending spree in the Bundesliga, triggered by a 93 million Euro weekend for Wolfsburg. Too bad the writer contradicts his decent argument in the last line, but hey...

Dortmund are starting to miss sitters now. Hertha lucky it's not 4-0.

Ah Kalou goal but in an offside position. That was difficult for the linesman to see though, I thought it was on in real time.

So they don't call an offside for Kalou when it is one, but they do call the offside on Ramos when he was on. Makes sense.
