Couldn't watch the game, but from what I heard so far I should be happy with the point we got. Great to see that Darida scored, he's been such a nice addition to the team.

So close from Hummels.

Missed a great chance from the 6 yard box (good save but should've scored), then scored in the second half but was unjustly ruled offside. Not a great game, but not terrible.

How is Dortmund losing to Darmstadt at Signal Iduna?

Hertha was actually more dangerous in the second half, and had an Ibisevic goal ruled offside, when it wasn't. A lot of possession, but Berlin just couldn't make that final key pass to the strikers. If anything, Frankfurt is lucky that it was a tie.

Yeah, my friend told me we were a lot better in the second half. But he also called the first half the worst 45 minutes of the season, so I thought this and the fact that we scored in the final 10 minutes to tie the game should make me happy with the result. He didn't mention that Ibisevic "goal", though :x

This girl asked me out on a Dortmund matchday again. But I honestly don't see us beating Bayern so it's w/e.

Weird match today. Look more like last year's squad. Tons of missed opportunity

And people thought we would have a title race this season.

Bayern will be 7 points ahead after next Sunday. They will be fresh after an easy home game vs Dinamo Zagreb Tuesday while Dortmund are traveling to Gr€€c€ Thursday.

We wont have a close season in the next many years. The only way it would change is if Bayern replaced Guardiola with Favre or someone like that, but that wont happen. Klopp will take over if he leaves in 2016. If Guardiola stays it will be Löw after the 2018 WC.

Agreed on all points except the last one. Many years? Complete dominance usually doesn't last that long in sports. Sure, Bayern will still win the majority of titles, but I think it's naive to think we won't have some close seasons/other winners soon.

Also, are you saying people in Germany actually thought Bayern might not win the league this year? Or just the media?

Also, Low is awful and would be completely exposed at Bayern. Hope that happens.

Had Wolfsburg kept De Bruyne & Perisic, bought a quality CB (Garay for example) and a DM to replace Malanda (Geis or whatever) and an upgrade over the Lord as the backup striker it might actually have been a somewhat competitive season.

But with Wolfsburg doing the same mistake Bayern did after title seasons (not investing enough) in the early/mid 2000 a competitive season was never going to happen. And selling Perisic and De Bruyne shortly before the window ends absolutely killed them.

Yeah, they thought Dortmund would at least push Bayern this season.

And let's be honest, Bayern will win the league with a double digit margin again.

Löw is an amazing manager.

Still by far the most active thread here. Much more active than Serie A, La Liga and even the PL.

Because you're still interesting.

Bundesliga is not the best league, but it's still very interesting and entertaining and that's why this thread is so active.

Again, highly disagree with your last point. Low is an awful manager and I think that's pretty patently obvious. So we should probably just agree to disagree there.

False bravado aside, I never expected Dortmund to legitimately contend this year, just a top four finish.
