Looking at other forums.

A lot of people are upset at the officiating and the fact that Chase hadn't touched the bag on the initial slide.
Can anybody clear this up?

A-Gon two RBI hits when the Dodgers got it to the pen this series.

A-Gon finally comes through and the Dodgers capitalize on a break. Dodgers up 4-2. Chase Utley has sparked some life into the Dodgers.

Update: Turner doubles in A-Gon to put us up 5-2. Way to go, Redbeard!

Fractured Fibula for Tajeda, wonder what happened to Utley's face?

Deja Vu All Over Again

Post#117 » by Ranma » Sun Oct 11, 2015 4:23 am

Adam Rubin, ESPN (9/24/10)
Chase Utley's late takeout slide into second baseman Ruben Tejada trying to break up a double play in the fifth inning irked the Mets. David Wright suggested if Utley, a second baseman, is comfortable with sliding like that, he better be willing to receive them like that, too.

Hopefully we have the mets unfocused and worrying about hitting our batters and we can just go in there and take Game 3.

hell of a lot better than what happened to Kang when Coghlan aimed at his knees.

I don't feel one bit what Utley did was a dirty play. what Chris did was questionable as he raised his leg to aim high, but what Chase did was simply an old school hard nosed play. too bad a guy broke his leg in it but it was a good baseball play.
ehhhhh f it.
