Outside of being Asian, how did Asuka remind anyone of Bull Nakano?

Dana may not be the crispest wrestler yet, but she's rarely caught in a bad ring position. She doesn't cause awkward pauses because she's lost in the Eva Zone, 2 feet away from where she should be. There appears to be a base level you need to be at before you can start perfecting the little things, and she's caught on to it pretty quickly. Corbin too.

I've been pretty impressed with Corbin's work since his feud with Joe. I really like his potential.

That's it. Yeah she reminded me of her. I didn't think there was anything special. Maybe once her character develops more.
Is it the smiling thing she does that reminds you of Bull Nakano? Otherwise, they seem like very different types of wrestlers due to their size differences - not to mention they look completely different.

The whole over the top. I am from asia thing the wwe is making them do. I know different styles but that is all I can think of.
I don't like the Itami dude either. Just never saw it. Nothing against asians or anythign but the style here is so much different than there. I just don't think it translates. They don't have that IT factor for me.

On point. About 2 months ago I stated on here that I would be happy never seeing Dana Brooke on my tv again. She has changed my mind big time. She's a very natural heel and has been improving by leaps and bounds. Now she's actually a pretty legitimate character on NXT. Her ring work is not bad at all these days. My only real complaint about her is a small one and it's her "taunts". She seems to get stuck when she does her taunts on the ramp and when she gets in the ring. She just repeats the same thing 2-3 times in a row. It looks like someone playing a video game and mashing the taunt button to try to build up their special move meter. It's really weird.

Re: NXT Thread 2 (The Day I've Been Waiting For)
I'm not an expert on women's cosmetic products, but why do I get the feeling that Alexa Bliss would be unrecognizable without makeup? Interesting choice for her to be the first challenger. I suppose she's the best option since they seem to be doing Emma-Asuka and Emma would otherwise be the best option. But I thought there was a chance they might shoot Nia Jax right to the top especially because Bayley's been working with her on a lot of the live events.
I'm a little surprised they let Rhyno call himself the last ECW Champion on WWE programming.
Why do they film those backstage segments while the show is going on. Joe and Balor are supposed to be having this intense stare-down and you very clearly hear the dueling chant of 'Sasha's rachet', 'No she's not'. Poor Tyler Breeze, that crowd really wanted to see him win and even turned against Joe when he eliminated him. And now they'll do a Breeze-Joe program and Breeze will put over Joe.

Makeup or not, she has the best body in wrestling

Has it been discussed how it seems WWE and EVOLVE are doing business together? In addition to Sami Zayn appearing for EVOLVE at 2 shows this weekend, there is now an article up on wwe.com predicting the hottest EVOLVE prospects being the next NXT stars.

Re: NXT Thread 2 (The Day I've Been Waiting For)
Dash and Dawson are getting ridiculously good. They were already great in the ring but their promos are getting better each time. The tag division in NXT is ridiculous.
Gable & Jordan
Enzo & Cass
Dash & Dawson
The Vaudevillains
All AMAZING tag teams. I wish they would just bring them all up to the main roster and make the tag division the focus of the weekly tv.

Nia Jax is a BIIIIIG chick.
Also, Eva Marie is never going to have it. Even in scripted, pre-taped promos she can barely get deliver the promo. They're trying to play on this heat the fans have with her, but it's not the type of heat that pays off, because she's not the type of performer who can channel it into making her character seem legitimate. She sucks.

If they ever force the NXT women's title on her, though, we'll get to watch Full Sail go ape sh*t.

And this is the area where for the longest time NXT was lacking. I think we'd all like to forget The Ascension plowing through guys seemingly forever.
Its an interesting quartet in terms of there upsides. They're the champs but I don't see anything in The Vaudevillains. I think Enzo and Cass are ready to go for the main roster for months. I thought they'd be coming up after Summerslam since that seemed to be the best explanation for them not winning the titles at Takeover in Brooklyn. In any event, they'll get over big once they get to the main roster but the question will be do they have the in-ring part and can they evolve the characters once the shtick starts to wear thin. I think Gable and Jordan have all the tools to be the best tag team of the last several years. I just don't think they'll get the run to fulfill that potential as I think they'll see major singles potential in Jordan and for good reason. Dash and Dawson have everything to be the best heel tag team for the next decade.

Gable has far more singles potential than Jordan imo.

Agreed, and he's massively over right now.
They tried to push Jordan as a singles guy in NXT and he bombed. He's mostly over now because of Gable. I'd really like to see them give those two a WWE tag title run before breaking them up.
