Re: 2015
Well, we were pretty bad going forward and gave the ball away way too easily.
Though, at least we're pretty stable defensively again and got a point at Juventus Stadium.
Also got lucky with that Dominguez foul and Mandzukic was his old diving self again...

Re: 2015
Zaza is a hard worker who can score goals vs teams like Empoli and Sevilla [in the last minute because they are tired and losing]. Against a good defense he won't score and with the ball at his feet he resembles a Special Olympian. Mandzukic didn't head the ball once today that I can remember so why even have him in the game?
Maybe Allegri is better off having six injuries so he isn't given the freedom to make horrible decisions????wtf

Good job man. 1 point.
The defense that i saw at stuttgart's game or whoever you guys played and won 5-1 was horrible for both teams. Juve couldn't manage to score but surely sevilla and city wont forgive you guys

As I said before, if melo stayed, we would probbaly get 10-12 points from this group.
Who the f*** is Melo to be that important ?

Every goal we've conceeded so far in CL play has been after a set piece. Three of them were penalties and two after a corner. And the first three were against Sevilla during a time in which the team was playing like pure crap.

Baphomet wrote:Happy to say I was wrong about Max Kruse being average. He's playing really well of late.
The one perk of him moving to FC VW is the exposure he's getting. I love that guy, as he's a fun character off of the pitch as well as on it...after not getting called to teh WC he spent his summer winning a World Series of Poker event and having fun with his winnings...and he's clearly germany's best forward, if you're not counting Mueller as a 9.
Just sucks that god damn Vizekusen's vulturistic youth policies cost BMG the CL a year sooner, when they still had Kruse and Kramer...nevermind that it also cost them the opportunity to snag Lacazzette for ~14M euros before he exploded for Lyon last season. *sigh* They could've become a really exciting team with Kruse, Lacazzette, Raffael, Hazard, Herrmann, Traore and Johnson ahead of that amazing Kramer-Xhaka partnership. Give them a CL campaign under their belts and Dahoud coming along to offer a genuine back up at the double pivot...and some better luck with Alvaro's health...and they could've been such a revelation this year...
Oh well; thanks Allegri and Zaza for helping BMG to their first CL point since the golden days, even though they were sloppy with the ball and Dominguez had a poor game. Luckily for both teams this won't stop Juve from winning the group, while BMG get a nice boost on the back of their excellent BuLi performances to continue growing into the team they should've been from the start of the year. Christensen has really come on since Alvaro returned to the lineup and Dahoud is looking well on his way to become Borrussia's version of Ilkay...hopefully the Barca-Xhaka links come to nothing and BMG get to let this new CM pairing keep growing together cause god damn is Dahoud smooth.
RE: Juve; The Pereyra inclusion was a great move, as they snuffed BMG's possession out from that point on wards; but it was a great bringing on undone by an awful taking off. Sandro and Cuadrado were the keys to Juve pulling BMG wide enough apart for their attackers to capitalize given that they too weren't sharp today. Bringing Zaza on instead of Dybala was just the icing on the cake. That said they could/should round into a really tricksy team by the knockouts with Marchisio, Pogba and Dybala anchoring their creative play alongside quality energy/possession guys like Pereyra/Khedira, and actual width from the likes of Cuadrado, Sandro and Lichtensteiner. With that veteran trio in defense+Rugani, Mario & Morata to lead the line, and Buffon to guide them out of the lockerroom; they could be a very tough and versatile challenge for europe's elite if things settle into place and they are fit.

Brunson: So what are you paid to do?
Hart: Run around like an idiot during the game and f*** s*** up!
