I think daSwami nailed it when he characterized millie as a post-modern performance artist. Performance art usually fails for me if it's not funny. Thoroughly post-modern millie is pretty funny. B+

You've been proven wrong. Wiz a top contender and coming through clutch beating the Spurs. Who drafted Big Time Beal? Oh yeah that's right, the guy you love to hate. Go sulk troll. Lol

This thread makes me laugh AT posters in it. It's kind of like discussing politics nowadays where it's all about *belief* rather than facts (although, whoever posted Ernie's annual win totals makes a good case about whether or not he's a "great" GM). But what I mean about politics is like when the monthly unemployment numbers are released.

The unemployment rate goes down, one side is yakking and strutting while the other side is silent. Unemployment rate goes up, the other side does the same.

Such is life with the Wizards. They win, Millie is here strutting. They lose, crickets. Vice/versa for Ernie detractors

Yup, that was a brutal loss in Boston last night. No strutting like after the Spurs win for our primary poster in this thread.

LOL -- Yeah, I'm *literally* laughing out loud.

Ernie and Witt can't control injuries to one of their main stars.

Yah but they can build quality depth. This isn't really Randy's fault per se, he is still a mediocre game manager but even if he is designing a modern offense, hard to execute with a bench that can be likened to dick brie. Look at all the personnel moves made by our smegma butter of a GM this season:

Neal- Cum Dumpster Fire
Alan Anderson- Injured and currently worthless, also a mediocre player statistically (although an upgrade over Neal)
Dudley- Any fatter and he'd collapse on himself like a neutron star
Gooden- A human wasteland on Defense and unreliable on O.
Oubre- Good for grabbing his GOD DAMN BALLS

The problem is still systemic. It is the cancer that is Ernie Grunfeld, who must be purged from this organization.

But the GMs of all the other franchises can.

The Wizards 3 wins were by a combined 8 points. Their 3 losses were by a combined 42 points.

The "best backcourt in the league" had 15 turnovers last night.

But........the future is bright!

EDIT: Through 6 games with all their starters healthy they have the 3rd worst point differential in the conference.

So do we count Nemanja Bjelica as a feather in Ernie's cap that he drafted him or another mark against Ernie that he dumped him in Antwan Jamison deal to get a late 1st in return back in 2010 (that 1st was used in combo with their early 2nd to trade up for Trevor Booker).

I don't know, but it does give me more reason to be hopeful about Satoransky.

Tomas is shooting 54% from the floor and 45% from beyond the arc in the Spanish league. He will be an asset and back up Wall next year and CHEAP! A 6-7 point guard adds versatility. Plus we have everyone else on the bench coming off the books to pursue a superstar free agent.

So are you discounting this season already? So much for a great GM
