I really hope so. I just hate playing against the Grizzlies, or even just watching them. So boring.

CJ McCollum is gonna be a beast. I wanted him so bad in the draft that year, was a big fan of his in college.

I think he'll be better than Lillard.

Is the new trend having your two best players being guards? You look at Wizards with Wall/Beal, Suns Knight/Bledsoe, Warriors Paul/Thompson, & Blazers McCollum/Lillard. Will we see more teams in 5 years go that route trading for/drafting guards or is it purely luck that it worked out that way?

Lol @ Paul/Thompson. But yeah, I think it just worked out that way. Wizards went BPA and took Beal. I think Blazers went BPA as well with McCollum.
On the flipside the Sixers got Noel/Okafor. It's too bad for the Pelicans they could have had Noel/Davis.

I'd like to think in two years we'll have Bledsoe/Booker as our starters, not sure what we'll do with Knight by then.

I think Thompson's some what overrated, I would say Green is their 2nd best player and I know many Warriors fans would agree as well. The impact he makes on defense is immense and he's not a slouch offensively either.

Another team you could add to the list though is perhaps Houston.

Oh man I was thinking the same thing. Thompson played extremely well last season but so far this season I don't see that same intensity. I can almost guarantee he isn't averaging the same stats as last year, though he could just be having a slow start or my eyes are just deceiving me. Could also be that Curry is just straight killing it or that teams have almost figured out Klay a little better.

Interesting that the Blazers are 4-0 vs the rest of the league and 0-2 against us. They've beaten other teams that people expected to be in the playoff hunt such as the Jazz, Pelicans and Grizzlies.

Besides that flat game in our first game, you have to like what you see so far. We keep it close with the Clips, even while not shooting well AT ALL and then they keep it really close with the Warriors.

Anyone watch the Heat-Pacers game? Specifically the last shot by Miami. I remember two NBA Finals ago I tweeted about how awful Wade has been. He just constantly looks for a bailout by the refs. He used to be one of my favorite players but he's just been such a little bitch playing the last 3 years or so. /End rant

Curry is just unbelievable.
still 15min left in the game and he already took 15 3 pointers (of course he nailed 8 of them)
seriously, this is nuts.

he's by far the best shooter of all time.

I have thought to myself that nobody will ever shoot like Nash/Miller/Allen ever again but I was wrong with Curry. Now whenever Curry retires I firmly believe he'll be the best shooter of all time and no future players will ever amount to his skills. Seriously, can another player come in and duplicate Curry's performance?

Well, he's a good example of why you can never say never, but he's the best shooter I've ever seen, and I've watched the best of them.

Most of the best shooters didn't do so on high volume. He does it on super high volume and also as the primary ball handler. I mean, honestly, offensively, if he keeps playing like this, he is the best all around offensive player ever. But it kind of reminds me of KJ. It could be short lived due to an injury and only those watching would have them firmly imprinted in their minds as one of the best ever, if only for a short time.

Yea we really need to stop rating Curry ranking on the best shooters list and start ranking him on the best PGs ever list.

He's already passed or is close to passing Nash already imo.

Bad for them but good for us. If they will still play so bad Suns chances of making playoffs will increase :D

I think about how the Suns are in a not-great place, and then I remember the Nets. It's got to be so horrible to be a Nets fan. They might get the #1 pick this year and it will go to Boston. And then they swap their pick with them next year. And I think they owe them another pick the year after that. Crazy.

And Billy King still has a job. Somehow.

I will. We will be coming off a time where for a short window from 2018-20 it looked like we might be a contender and got to the second round and lost tough 7 game series, and finally we regressed in 2020-21, and it looked like we should break down and rebuild. So we luckily get the Miami Heat's #2 unprotected pick who is a superstar point guard expected to be raw, but a superstar within a few years, along with our own 13th pick, and we look to be having a young exciting team in the future, yet we still have some vets from those competing years.

Sarver demands the playoffs, so we sign a few vets, and the two lotto picks sit on the bench, even though they show glimpses of quality play when on the court....then when these guys (particularly the pg) finally progress(es) enough to where they are ready to start and possibly become superstars, Sarver demand we sign an old and gimpy Curry, because he IS a superstar and we need to win NOW and the emerging young superstar pg remains on the bench a bit longer.
