Not sure if you're trolling or not, but

1) Noel's value is on defense
2) He plays with arguably the worst supporting cast in history. You really think he should be expected to have good numbers?

The best that can be said about Ernie right now, at least he didn't deal our 2016 1st rounder, yet.

Ryan Hollins?

:nonono:

I think I might have to get League Pass. There are some interesting teams to watch and the Wizards aren't one of them.

How about giving the team time to gel? Still very early in the season. Hollins is a good signing. Athletic and not afraid to hustle. Character is just as important to building a successful team as athleticism.

Let me guess: A win in Cleveland tonight and a win against the Lakers tomorrow night and the Grunfeld haters will be back on his jock.

That was a strong possibility last year if Wall didn't get injured.

No. It was a remote possibility, even if Wall had stayed healthy. It was definitely a possibility in the sense that they made the playoffs.

When Wall came back in that series, the shooters on the team had more shots created for them and missed even more when wide open then when Wall was out. Gooden and Porter regressed hard those last 3 games. Wall shooting a little better then he did maybe wouldn't have staved off the massive fall off in play from perimeter role players brought in by yah big daddy EG. Try again.

Discuss Ernie Grunfeld's GM skills here (Part 2)

Post#79 » by Chocolate City Jordanaire » Fri Dec 4, 2015 6:07 am

Washington could luck out for EG again.

Suppose the Wizards go 41-41 and miss the playoffs. But then....

Lightning strikes and the Wizards win the lottery. Hello, Ben Wilson!

EG is GM for the next 12 years. It could happen.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

Hey milellie111:

Please share this with Ernie Grunfeld. (Or anybody lurking who knows EG)

Instead of Ryan Hollins, how's about calling up CHRIS WALKER from the DLeague?

http://www.basketball-reference.com/dleague/players/w/walkech01d.html

http://www.si.com/nba/2015/01/16/chris-walker-florida-gators-billy-donovan-nba#comments

http://www.nbadraft.net/players/chris-walker

Freak athlete. Shot blocker. 6'10" and only 20 or 21. Destroying DLeague. In two or three seasons who knows? Some guys are like Rodman, late to bloom. Pippen wasn't an academic qualifier. This kid Walker seems like an EG pick. Talented physically.

This isn't rocket science. 10-day and in the words of Sandra Bullock from the Blind Side: "Thank me later."

If you like him let him continue to play in the DLeague all season but secure his rights. The guy is already doing very well there. He WILL be an NBA player soon, and perhaps a good one in time.

Added bonus: Micheal Gbinije in 2016 draft, round 2
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.
