Here's a thought

Koufus/ Collison to Utah for Burks/Booker

Kings get their 2 guard. Curry steps in as back up PG. Rondo has the organizations full support on returning next season. Booker will have a role off the bench on an expiring deal.

Utah gets their 3rd big they seek and an upgrade at PG.

Some may feel Kings overpay/underpay which depends on how you value Burks. I think he is a great talent who should excel in the dribble drive offense and he's on a decent contract thru 2019.

What are your thoughts? Any adjustments? Kings should follow with a McLemore trade.

Burks is out indefinitely due to a left broken ankle.

Would such a trade be fair?

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=zejxsxm

With Boston giving the best of Mavs or Bostons 2016 #1 pick to Kings and Bucks getting the other?
No hay banda.

I don't see how that makes sense for any of the teams, including the Bucks.

I suppose so. It's just that the Bucks seem to have no chance this season. Anyway.. It was just a thought.

Kings fans knees were knocking the first time when the talk of Petrie taking Monroe over Cousins started bubbling up. He's a solid pro, but no way.

Yeah, I'm a Celtics fan and I don't think that's a plausible trade..

I do think Milwaukee could be a destination for Cousins if your front office decides he's worn out his welcome- if the Bucks were willing to give up Jabari with Monroe.

Most here are aware that I have mentioned I have an inside Kings source for the last several years now & that last year before it happened I put it out on this board about the Kings dealing all of Stauskus , J.T. & Landry . That deal actually happened .
Please again remember greater than 99% of all trade rumors though rumors might be true most rumors and proposals never work out in terms of all trade partners agreeing .

That said : This is not anywhere on the internet yet & it might not even make it there as I don't think the Kings will do the deal .

My Source just informed me that New Orleans has contacted us & offered us Eric Gordan & Ryan Anderson ( Sacramento Native & I believe former Del Campo High School star Player )
For

Rudy Gay , Belinelli & Collison

Both Pelicans contracts are expiring & all salaries do fit to make a 2 team deal work

I can see us trading Gay this year honestly but I don't see this one happening unless we are given a future pick of some sort .

To be 100% clear I am just letting you all know I am not claiming this will happen at all but it could & might not be able to happen for awhile anyways due to Belinelli signing as a free agent over this last summer so per NBA rules it could have to wait awhile anyways.

In don't like that trade for the Kings. Pelly's probably lose both in FA so I'm sure they'd love this.

I'm not doubting you, just don't remember anyone last summer talking about a Sauce, JT and Landry trade with Philly before it was rumored on tweeter. I joined the site to follow the Kings offseason moves so I was scanning pretty heavy all summer. Do you have a link to that post? I wanna see if I agreed or balked at the suggestion...

But I don't like this one if we don't get any help inside or any young assets or picks like Trees said.

I like the idea of Anderson and maybe switching some of the shots to SG with a better playmaker like Gordon is a better option if Karl sticks around. At least he'd have that extra ball handler next to Rondo so he doesn't have to play so small. That said, Gordon is small himself. I'm not sure about that deal being a good or bad one. Of course I'm not sure any moves that don't involve sweeping style change will fix this at the moment anyway.

I'm so-so about this. Gordon is an upgrade to whatever we are doing at the 2-spot. Anderson fits nicely next to Cousins. Both are shooting a boatload of 3s and is hitting them at a solid clip. With that said, both Gordon and Anderson will be FAs after this season. We could lose them for nothing. If they were to make this move, they are banking on the chance that this can turn this mess around at the start of 2016 year and make the last/late push to the playoffs.

Fellow Kings fan I hope ?
Yes indeed I did post 1 or 2 after I posted & the trade came through complimented me on it .
I don't believe I actually stated the exact deal before it happened to the letter T . I did say shortly before it happened that ll were getting dealt any time . I am not Real gm savvy to the point of going back in the history nor do I have the time to do so . You are welcome to search if you doubt me no worries .
I believe it would likely have been in a Kings trade or trade rumors forum last year but cannot guarantee that . I am a die hard Kings fan have been since day 1 they officially moved to Sac but due To being a family man & a lot going on all the time I don't have time to post a lot as some do here . If I had that time I would as I enjoy this board when friendly & civil.

All the best & If I here anything more to this or other possibilities I will post them .

But I don't like this one if we don't get any help inside or any young assets or picks like Trees said.

Return to Sacramento Kings
