It's nice to see people are finally paying attention to this aspect of his improvement as a player, because it's been his most consistent area of contribution to the team this season. I wonder how much of it is coaching and how much is his own personal improvement. I'd imagine quite a bit comes from coaching because he's always tried on defense, he was never lazy.

Both Jeremy's came to Charlotte with a reputation as questionable defenders (one earned, one probably not really fair). Funny now the two Jeremy's couldn't be more different on the defensive end. Lin impresses me with his defense every game and Lamb disappoints me every game.

But, apparently, Jeremy does much better offensively for the Hornets when he gets to start this season as opposed to when he comes off the bench. Perhaps it's a rhythm thing. Or just that he has more opportunity since his starts are usually because someone is out, which may ostensibly free up shots/touches/playmaking opportunity/minutes/etc. for him to get in a groove.StatMuse
