If anyone but United, City or Chelsea wins the league this year, that's 4 different winners in 4 years. Let's be honest here, it ain't gonna be United or Chelsea. Hard to say the Premier League is predictable these days.

Arsenal will never beat Chelsea ever, so after almost throwing my television through a wall, we're still not in bad position. I like how they match up with Leicester City, and that game will be at the Emirates so it's a winnable game. Man City is probably gonna win the league, but with Kompany out that's no longer guaranteed. I wish we would make one more signing but I guess "like a signings" Wilshere, Cazorla, Coquelin, and Welbeck, if he even still exists, will have to do.

I thought Wenger made the right choice in taking Giroud out. But I hope he realizes that Gabriel should be starting from the beginning.

You are playing home and its a must win. Why the hell you take off your only pure striker in the whole squad? But here is Arsene Wenger. Just like against Stoke City when he tried to gain 1 point instead of going for 3 points, he did the same thing here. He thought 1 point would be great. Because he has a small team mentality. He never thinks big. Arsene wenger is the biggest obstacle for Arsenal to win it all.

I agree, I would have taken off Campbell.

Of course, I'm hoping it will be Spurs. But unfortunately, cold logic tells me that City stand the best chance, and then Arsenal. The team with the best depth often goes the distance - however Leicester do have fewer games to play than everyone else thanks to no European/cup commitments. City and Arsenal have been decimated by injury this season and are still within touching distance of Leicester. City's entire spine of Aguero, Kompany and Silva has missed substantial time. A fully healthy City wins the league easily, imo.

Spurs are playing arguably the best football in the Premier League, but we are probably one injury to Harry Kane away from falling off. We're set at every other position. Leicester are an enigma and I don't know what will happen. They were struggling for goals a bit, but then they scored 3 against Stoke. I don't think they'll win the league, but they will be in the mix come May for sure.

I don't disagree with your Arsene point but the way I saw it, theo would be given more space to make runs with Giroud out. Campbell provides too much to take him out. Giroud wasn't going to create anything with a man down.

In my opinion, it was the right call to switch Giroud for Gabriel, however, the decision looked bad because Arsenal conceded shortly after. 0-0, down a man, what's the gameplan? Bunker down, hit them on the breaks. Walcott provides that ability. However, a couple minutes later, down 0-1, now Arsenal scrambling to take a point. Chelsea has extra defender, defense hard to break down, Arsenal resorting to furiously pushing the ball into the box. Now, that's where Giroud would have done well, probably would have been in position to convert those balls Flamini wasted in the box.

Also, there come a point where Wenger isn't responsible for the mental lapses of his player. Sure, you can blame Wenger's approach to the game (sour grapes as it seems, I believe Patrick Viera was spot on on his analysis of Wenger vs. Mourinho's approach to styles and tactical prepardness), but you surely can't blame him for Mertersacker getting sent off for a no look tackle :)

Does Jose really end up at United? Pep will win the league once or twice with City and then be gone again in 3 years.

I think City would be fine with that. They don't strike me as a club that holds either loyalty or longevity in high esteem.

Sure, for 2 years maybe. Pep signed a 3 year deal. He will most definitely move on after his contract is up. José gets the most out of a club for a couple of seasons, then moves on. But, if I'm a club like United, do I really want to bring in a manager like José? When your going to have to look for another manager in 2-3 years.

That's going to happen with 99% of managers.

To be honest, bringing in Jose for just a few years and most likely being competitive is better than suffering with David Moyes and the corpse of Van Gaal's career for the same amount of time.

Mourinho has, in no uncertain terms, been courting the United job for years. I'm almost certain he would've spurned Chelsea in a heartbeat had United offered the job to him when Ferguson retired despite claims to the contrary. Remember when Madrid knocked United out of the CL that one year? Mourinho looked like his dog had died. Said "the best team lost", he was even more sulky than usual.
