Bonnell talks about MKG
http://stationcaster.com/player_skinned.php?s=131&c=16643&f=5223923

Basically says MKG is the greatest patient ever for him to be so close to returning this fast.

Bonnell is convinced MKG plays either tonight or Sunday vs Lakers. Says Hornets are sure he is ready and even though he is way ahead of schedule, says they have been very cautious with his return. Gushes about how MKG is the most driven, hard working person and if anyone could come back so fast it was him.

I will try not to have too many expectation tonight for MKG. I'm sure there will be plenty of rust, plus lots of new players to get accustomed to playing with, such as Batum, Lin, Hawes and Frank.

I will resist temptation to laugh or criticize him in the game thread when he launches his first ugly brick of the season or when he gets the ball stripped while driving to the rim, or refuses to use his left hand on a layup, or fakes a jumper only to drive into 3 waiting defenders standing in the paint causing an offensive foul. or when he picks up two quick, cheap fouls and has to sit the rest of the 1st half.

I'm excited to see MKG play after all the hype by longtime Hornets fans about how MKG is the defensive Jesus.

The only feasible 3 point shot for MKG in the near future seems to be the corner 3. This also seems to a shot that Clifford tends to forget about. Is this a reason to be concerned about the offensive development of MKG?

He's back. Very solid game for him. Unfortunately, nobody else held their end of the bargain

MKG has made 2 threes so far this season, he had 3 his entire career before yesterday.

It was against the Lakers, but 19 points on just 7 shots is still really impressive.

15/16 Kobe is gonna 15/16 Kobe, but that 0-5 start of his was the result of some staunch D by MKG. Kobe appeared to be getting frustrated early on with MKG on him, before taking apart PJ a bit.

I can only remember 4 shots being made directly against MKG so far in two games. Crabbe hit a long 2 in his face, I think CJ hit a pull up jumper, Kobe beat him once to the rim and Kobe hit a 3 on him. All the other points his man has scored have come with him on the bench or after he's switched on to another player. I might be missing 1 or 2 made baskets in the garbage time of both games in the 4th.
