Keeper Info (13 possible in total)
Keepers: At the end of each season, each manager will choose 10 players of any position.
Rookie keepers: Additional 2 picks. You may also keep 1 position player and 1 pitcher that have appeared in no more than 2 seasons in the majors. Position players also cannot have more than 650ABs, starting pitchers no more than 250 IP, relief pitchers no more than 100 IP.
The rest will go into the free agent pool along with all rookies for the next season.
League Winner: The playoff champion from the previous season may keep 1 additional keeper. The 2nd round pick (pick #24) of the league champion is forfeited.
Draft Order
1st through 6th picks: Is decided through a Lottery (see below), and your position in the lottery is determined by your finish during the regular season.
7th through 11th picks: Determined by regular season finish, to prevent tanking in the playoffs.
(For example if you finish 1st in the regular season, and were not the playoff champion, you receive 11th pick. If you finished 6th, and you were not the playoff champion, you would pick 7th).
12th pick: The playoff champion picks last (i.e., 12th) in the draft and loses their 2nd round pick but keeps an additional keeper
Lottery Information
We will be using the website http://www.random.org/sform.html to generate the draft order (random sequence of 1-100). I will get someone who is not in the league to run it for us so there is no bias.
The lottery will be much like an NBA lottery, where the last place team will get the most “balls” and greater odds of getting the first pick, but no guarantee so as to prohibit tanking on purpose.
- 12th place receives 1-30
11th place receives 31-55
10th place receives 56-75
9th place receives 76-90
8th place receives 91-97
7th place receives 98-100.
Offline Draft Rules
Each manager will have 10 hours to make his/her selection.
If you are late 3 times, your clock shortens by 2 hours, and does so again after each other time late.
If you do not make your pick within your 10 hour time limit, your pick is skipped and the draft will move along to the next manager, and the next and so on. When skipped, you can make your pick at any time when you check back in.
If you feel you will not be able to make your pick when your time is due to come up, please email a contingency list to MGD or another manager who you trust to make the selection for you.
Once you make a pick, it is final. There is no changing your pick. You are not to edit the post that you make your pick in.
You may trade draft picks at any time after the lottery. You may also include players in your offline trades prior to the start of the season without experiencing the pending period you will experience during the season.
Once the draft begins, there will be a player moratorium, wherein you cannot mention ANY players’ name that has not yet been selected.
Add/Drop/Waivers
There will be a 2 day waiver period for dropped players.
Disabled List
Each team will be able to assign 2 players to the disabled list at a time. Players eligible will have a red DL beside their position, meaning they are out at least 15 days.

The goal of keeper league’s is to make this multiple seasons, so please, only join if you want to be a serious part of this for years to come.

Inactive managers will be replaced at season’s end with no hesitation.
