Very interesting article. I'm half-tempted to say that maybe one day in the future, Dre just pulls a Larry Sanders and just gets into acting. He seems to be outright obsessed with acting and the theater culture.

Well, he seems to portray emotion, good and bad, very easily. That's a characteristic of an actor.
I hope his heart stays in basketball, at least for another ten years. He has the potential to do so much.

I'm not even sure I would want us to sign Ryan Anderson, but I'm gonna continue to post whenever he has some eye popping stats or high lights

while concerning, the money is in the NBA and branding and championships bring all that as well as acting gigs.
I am more impressed that he's not just a dumb jock and has other aspirations.

Knicks fire Fisher
You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.

Re: Around the League

No doubt because of KCP's great defense on clamping down 3s from PG/SGs. We're literally almost an anomaly.

That's really impressive on the part of the Pistons D!
Pretty disturbing to see the Mavs apparently operating on blind luck as we give up a ton of open 3's, but other teams shoot them horribly. I would like to say that's because the Mavs are only giving up 3's to the "right" shooters, but as I watch the games I know that's not the case.

Yeah it's pretty alarming how many open 3s you guys actually give up but I think that seems pretty structured? You guys could be a lot worse, at least ya'll ain't the Kings. Wowza.

Doesn't hurt that guys can fly past Reggie and Brandon so easily they don't need to settle for 3s, plus we have no rim protector.

Re: Around the League
Whiteside ejected and gets a suspension for intentional elbow. Reading the heat player comments and spols, i am glad we aren't going to be paying that headcase. GB calling him Bynum 2.0, and i think he's at least in that realm.

our trade wouldnt have changed the league as much as that would have, IF it happened.

if you guys want to read a riveting discussion initiated by TT mods about the definition of "RENTAL"
Basically i made accurate statement in a discussion with a 3rd party, and apparently if you make a statement on the TT board, you can't have a difference of opinion with the "majority". Its sad to see posters use "My post got more and1's therefore i am right".
FYI these same mods have now gone after, baited and suspended 2 of our posters within the past 2-3 weeks.
Detroit vs Everybody

I completely agree. Which is weird, because a year ago we would disagree with every little thing. How the tides have turned lol.

Re: Around the League
MKG dislocated his shoulder for Charlotte. So the road to the playoffs might have gotten a little easier.
