OK - you're the one team that could be cut out of the deal - sending Keef and Tuck directly to Miami instead. Thanks for the feedback.

Haha, your question should have been what do we think of a Gay for Morris and Tucker trade...
On the court and financial value is about on but putting Morris with Cousins is a terrible idea. How long before they are fighting in some form?
But hey, anything could happen, everyone thought Rondo would be fighting with Karl and Cousins too.

Ariza, Capela, and McDaniels are nice too.

In exchange for which player(s)?
The Rockets aren't blowing it up. Anyone outside of Harden and Howard might be available, as team chemistry is toxic at best, but not for a downgrade.
(Now, if Howard gets dealt, all bets are off, but he'd only be traded if the yield were irresistible. Whatever that may be.)

The better question is should the Kings consider it. Iman is a good defender but he's been beyond useless on offense this year

Which is exactly what we need. It's not like Mclemore has been much of a contributing piece at all this year, he's been pretty useless on offense as well, and he's only three years younger than Shump which isn't so bad. I'd rather have a guy that I know can lock up an opposing wing than wondering what kind of BMac we'll get on a nightly basis.

Agree on parts of that. Perimeter d is killing us but we also need spacing with rondo and gay on the floor. If he was around the same cost as Ben, I could see it but at 10m/year with the challenges he presents on offense, I think there could be cheaper ways to address that issue. Wouldn't be an awful deal either way

Doesn't make sense for either team. Cavs are win now - Shump is better for this playoff run. Kings need to retain players with upside - say what you want about McLemore but Shump has absolutely no upside.

Stop with the upside talk! Get Iman in here we need defenders and he's borderline elite. And since we know lebron runs Cleveland I'm sure that's why they have interest

He shot 40% from 3 one year, sure his averages are historically around 33-34%, but you get up past 35% or so what else would you want from a defensive guy?
