Before this injury, he would have been there for the OKC pick. And now, he's likely a mid-late 2nd rounder at best.

I don't know, he's missed a ton of time (as he always does), but he averaged 16.5 ppg / 5.3 rpg / 4.9 apg on 50.6% from the field and 44.6% from 3. I have no problem risking a very-late first round pick on a 6-7 SG with those numbers. If he gets hurt, he costs you basically nothing. If he magically stays healthy, you have a gigantic bargain.

He's definitely had some great moments, puts up decent stats like you've shown above. I just don't think that anyone is going to sign up to give him the guaranteed money and years that comes with a first round draft pick. His consistent health issues are worrying for me.

It's a pity really. I really like him as a player, but I agree he is injured all of the time. Would be a great time to still have our second round pick, but it is what it is.

Strange as it may sound, I would much prefer draft him at the very end of the first round than in the second.

Going by what Larry Nance Jr. is being paid, guaranteed money for the #27 pick in the draft (Where the OKC pick currently sits) is basically a 2-year, $2.3M deal with two options years totaling about $3.5M. If he's healthy you have an unreal bargain, if he's hurt, honestly who cares about $2,3M with how the cap is going to jump.

I agree. If LaVert drops to the 2nd round, i wouldn't be surprised to see him 'bet on himself' and only sign a one year deal.

I would be fine with taking him at the okc pick for sure.

Yeah, that's a good point. The only thing is that there could be better options there.

Still, Lavert at 27 is a high upside pick.

Yep, and high 2nd rounders like Mickey and Jerami Grant etc all get 2 guaranteed years if they sign longer deals.

Derrick Jones Jr. out of UNLV has been deem ineligible after his ACT results got cancelled, weird, anyway, he is from Philly, and he has insane hops, the guy is the best athlete in this class for sure, he is really irregular as a shooter as of now, but he has a high ceiling, if he ends up declaring I'd consider him if I am Phila with either Miami's or OKC's pick if he is there.

Jones is a sensational dunker, but isn't he kind of Jeremi Grant-y? He's a 6-7 power forward.

He is clearly a wing, he is under 200lbs and really fluid and athletic, he needs to improve his shooting, but he projects more like a perimeter player, to me.

It's not like he's Vontaze Burfict.

I like him more than Wiggins as a prospect. He's better at everything and projects better at SG where his length is even more ridiculous.

Is a more lenghty Khris Middleton a good comparison for Brandon Ingram?

LSU/UK is on right now.

Boy did Ben Simmons pick the wrong school to go to.
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

I hear that Ben Simmons' grade point average is under 2.0 so he is not eligible for the wooden award.

Who cares. He's passing basketball with flying colors.

Skal "Lamarcus Aldridge" Labissierre is moving back up the draft. Dude mid-range J is so money.
