Well, if Labissiere keeps playing like that from here on out, he's a top 10 pick. If he regresses to what he was for the bulk of the season, he shouldn't even declare.

Boy did Ben Simmons pick the wrong school to go to.
I hear that Ben Simmons' grade point average is under 2.0 so he is not eligible for the wooden award.
Who cares. He's passing basketball with flying colors.
What is "passing basketball?" LSU just lost to KU, 94 - 77. Skal, Lee & Poythress combined for 42 pts & 22 rebounds. Simmons' college stats are just as shallow as D'Angelo Russell's. Now I'm seeing that Simmons is (1) stupid (2) lazy or (3) stupid and lazy.

Um Simmons is going to be the top pick in the draft. Yes he's passing basketball with flying colors.

I've been on the Ingram hype train for some time now, there's no chance I would pick Simmons over Ingram in this draft.

Skal crushed it against LSU! Where did that jumper come from? Six blocks too. Even though next year's draft class is supposed to be deep, Skal should go back to KU and get reps while working on his body.

He goes to UK.
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

The interview is the only way Ingram passes Simmons...on the court it isn't even close. The top pick is the used on the star, and Simmons exudes star potential. Ingram is a very nice prospect/consolation prize, but there really isn't much of a comparison. If Simmons is more like Beasley upstairs, then you have valid concerns, but his skill set is so unique that he gives you the best chance at landing be next NBA superstar.

And the shooting, and the clutchness. I like Simmons, but he's number 2.

Is Ingram clutch? 10 pts against UNC is clutch? Ingram can be Durant or Darius Miles...if Simmons head is right, his floor is Lamar Odom and his ceiling is the upper echelon of players this league has seen...that is what you take 100 percent of the time.

Simmons is such a better prospect than Ingram that it's almost funny that so many posters try to make it a competition

Ingram In his last 10 games from 2 is 29/86 on 8.4 attempts per game for 33%.
He is 22/57 from 3 at 38%.
So in his last 10 games he is shooting 35% on 14 shots a game.
That's troubling for someone who is coming in as shooter.

Ben Simmons game is very well rounded except for 1 minor aspect. HE CAN"T SHOOT. He knows he cant shoot and he pretty much refuses to shoot outside of 15 feet. Add in the fact that his team is in a bad conference and they stink. This is a conference where a future NBA franchise player would have put on his back and won 25 games.
Dont get it twisted I would still take Simmons #1 overall but this kid has red flags sticking out his ass.

Denzel Valentine filled the box score against Ohio State the other day. Is this guy a good enough athlete to start on a good NBA team? He can pass and shoot, that's for sure. Probably sixth or seventh man material on a good team.

I'd say he could be more than that since he has at least similar physical traits and playmaking as Turner with FAR better shooting. And Turner is a solid sixth or seventh man.

That would be tremendous value with the MIA pick. Maybe he will slip.

Maybe the Miami and OKC picks get you Valentine, and yes it would be great value.
Simmons shooting will come...he's in a lousy position in LSU with what appears to be horrific coaching. If the Sixers land him, all of the past few years will be well worth the sacrifice. If shooting is such an issue, why is nobody concerned that Ingram is shooting the same % from the line as Simmons?? I like them both, but really struggle on this debate...it's a laughable notion.

He's definitely deserving of a top 10 pick at the least, I'd be very happy if he slips to the Miami pick. Come to think of it, his numbers are just as good if not better than Turner's in his final year, and he went #2! And it's not like there's a huge age gap, Valentine is 1 year older than he was. Don't know why he's projected so low.

Ingram 40% from deep in 5+ att per game
Simmons 1 for 3 from deep for the season
Unless the Sixers are turning Simmons into Magic Johnson (which I would be fine with and is pretty much the only way I could justify taking Simmons over Ingram), in today's game at the forward spots you have to be able to hit the deep ball. It doesn't help Ben's case that he might not be the brightest bulb in the box, either.

I have the feeling Simmons is incredibly overrated.
I'm not very high on this draft.
I would take Ingram btw. Fits much better on this team, but I'm also not sure he will pan out.
