Re: NBA Games Discussion Thread - Part 3
Grizzlies lost Mario Chalmers to an Achilles tear.
Conley is out, Randolph is out. They signed a PG to a 10 day today and he started tonight. Lance Stephenson is playing well.
Joerger is a really good coach

Re: NBA Games Discussion Thread - Part 3
The Warriors just won their 48th straight home game (29 this season). GS fans haven't seen their team lose live in almost a full calendar year.
Unrelatedly, the Wizards have never won 48 games in a season under Grunfeld, and have only 30 wins total for the year. Make of that what you will.

I remember all the strong support on this board for hiring Joerger, even as far back as replacing Eddie Jordan. Also seem to remember some chat or event where Ted was asked specifically about Joerger and he dismissively answered "oh, WE know who he is," as if to say that the silly, ignorant fans shouldn't start to think that they might have an idea that the professionals haven't considered.

The Warriors were down by 10 late in the 3rd, then decided they had enough. The went on a 37-16 run to put it out of reach.

That was fun to watch. Brandon Knight was doing his best Stephen Curry impression, and then the real thing decided he was tired of imitations.

Not defending the team for sticking too long with EFJ, but that specific exchange might have been more about not losing money/picks for "tampering" since someone was still employing him as an assistant. If someone had mentioned a guy out of a job (maybe Jeff Van Gundy), maybe they would have said more?
And speaking of Memphis, I scratched my head when they let Hollins go, but looks like it was the right decision in the long run. The question is what do they do with their roster? They'll have a nice chunk of cap space in the summer, and there should be a market for Z-Bo. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

Spurs vs GSW is a must-see game, the Spurs are quietly contending as-well.

You think Popovich wants that game? Some good stuff there so far in this game.

No 33 in a row. Curry looked very very human. 1-12 from 3?

Spurs or OKC are winning it this year. Not the Ws.

No Bogut, Iggy, or Ezeli. Warriors aren't winning if all those guys are injured.

Duncan only played 8 minutes.
Diaw with Leonard and Aldridge is how Popovich is going to matchup against the Warriors' small lineup.

The Spurs will certainly make it interesting. The Golden State Warriors small lineup isn't the same without Andre Iguodala though.

I think Duncan plays more if Bogut was healthy.
But yeah, Duncan gets more minutes vs. teams like OKC or LAC than GSW.

Because Duncan isn't really that good anymore.

Re: NBA Games Discussion Thread - Part 3
Curry had 17, 11 and 7 in a Win and they said he had an off night against the TimberWolves. Pre-Draft if someone would have said that stat line would have been a off night for Curry people would have called that man crazy. Curry is on another level offensively but it is painfully obvious that his defense is avg at best.

Run TMC vs the current young Timberwolves ? Who is better there?
Or Sac with Webber vs Young Timberwolves? More upside?
