Our offense thrives when our points are breaking down the defense and it is a huge plus for us to have 2 who can do so. With a skyrocketing cap and the full bird rights to both players, I would rather keep both.
I say let Bazemore go, use our available cap to resign Humphries and to find a starting SF and then go over the cap to sign Horford.
You have to balance the basketball side and the business side. And the business side you are talking about is not realistic.
You are basically saying, that we tell Teague behind closed doors that "we will resign you, give you the money you want, but as soon as the six months are up, we are trading you right away."
Now you are putting words in my mouth because that is not what I said at all.
Please show me where I said to trade Teague after signing him. I clearly said keep both unless some great package becomes available. I have zero interest in trading Teague for a George Hill or a mid-round pick.
This team goes as our point guards go and it is beneficial for us to have 2 explosive point guards that can take over at any time. Find a SF that isn't undersized and I have no problem playing Teague and Shredder together with the SF, Millsap or Horford, Humphries. I expect Dennis to put on a little more size and improve his jumpshot some more in the offseason. Once he has a reliable 3 ball, there shouldn't be much of an issue with playing those 2 together.
