way to strike out Crawford Kaz.

Settle down in the next inning.
That inning was kind of a fluke anyway.

Scott pitched well, it was a defensive positioning in the OF, a missed tag at home, and a series of other bad lucks that got him two runs against. Cueto at this point is shaken. let's chase him off the mound in the next two innings.

ahhhhh.... it was a ball all the way in that count after being hit hard the first inning and Seager caved in.. Posey is gonna want to limit the pitch count but he will not put his pitcher in a bad situation at certain counts... and two quick outs.... goddamn it guys.

Nomar caught the same thing I saw. Johnny just paused for a second in his delivery to take away the timing.

every battery will choose a different pitch depending on the batter and the sitiation but usually, when i see a high heat to back you up, I like the batter to sit on the low inside fastball, while looking out for the outside slider. if it is less than two strikes, don't swing at it unless it is what you thought it was at where you guessed it would be. Puig got outsmarted by Posey.

now what Austin should do is call the high heat on Posey's first pitch after we get out of this inning 1-2-3 on bottom of the third.

still, Cueto needed deception with his pitching timing and a threatening headhunting pitches to get out of that second. I say we still should look for his fastball.

Knew going up 5-0 was too good to be true.
