Neither do I. I wanted the Hawks for the first round.

Hawks or Charlotte. None are easy match-ups, but I'll take them over Boston

If the Hawks played the way they've been playing all season, they would be the second seed. The Celtics are just a bad matchup for us in every way so avoiding them is huge. Their perimeter defense destroys everything we try and do. On offense, all their big men can shoot, which nullifies Whiteside to a degree and Isaiah Thomas would run circles around Dragic. Honestly, i don't know who i'd rather see, but hopefully it's neither.

Best case scenario imo is

3 Hawks
4 Heat/Hornets
5 Hornets/Heat
6 Celtics

Yea, if we played the Hawks in the first round then I would've definitely bought some tickets to see the games live at the Philips Arena... Lol but outside of that the Hawks IMO lost a step when they let go of Carroll. He played a huge role for that team

If Batum is still out, 3rd seed is guaranteed Charlotte

Edit; nvm, he's back but probably still a little slow

Bazemore filled Carroll's role and then some. Hawks just played bad overall until like a month ago, now they're back to last season form. I want to avoid them as much as the Celtics, if not more.

According to Juice Skolnick... while Dorell hasn't officially signed yet, he was there with the team today.

Brad Stevens is the best coach in the east. I'm like many, I want to avoid them as well. Sad is 1-8, we are a much better team than anyone not named Cavs in the east and possibly Toronto on paper. But our team should make it to ECF anything besides that would be a disappointment.

Look at our team;

Hassan: Top 3 center and a max type player in free agency
Deng: Very good and valuable starter. Plays the game the right way.
JJ: Game changing SF who does everything good. Going to be huge in the playoffs.
Wade: GOAT
Goran: Top 5 PG in the easy, averaging 17 and 6 since all star break.

Bench: Solid depth, youth and a bit of everything. If you need big for Hassan foul trouble you have Amare. If you need spacing and a 4/5 McBob, you have a wild card in Green and now a solid vet like D-Wright.

Love our team. Now could you imagine Chris Bosh with this roster? WOW!

We have 3 back-to-backs in our last 9 games :-?

(2nd of b-2-b) Magic - W
Magic - L
Pistons - L
(2nd of b-2-b) Celtics - W

6-3

49-33

Prob good for 4th or 3rd in the East.

I'm 2 for 1 so far.

Wade should be back vs Detroit.

4-2 so far.

I have us going 1-1 vs Orlando so i expect a revenge win in our next match up.

I'm gonna put me down as 5-1 since i had us splitting Orlando games anyway.

Although i have us losing against the Pistons i always like our chances.......it always depends on wich Heat team shows up - the one that shows no guts or more like the team we saw last game vs Orlando who showed alot of fight!

Either way i have us spankin' these C's lads. I think it's one who those unlikely spots where people think we lose & end up surprising.

So if we win our last 2 games i correctly predicted the 49 wins or 1 off.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

I smell fear all over this board.

I ain't scared of no green men.

If we can't beat Boston in a 7 game series then we never had any business even thinking about the ECF. THat's exactly where i see us headed.

We have way too much playoff tested veterans on this team to lose to a team like the Celtics in the playoffs. Heat culture won't be denied come playoff time. Best Believe That!

Your posts are good when they're on the positive tip. Agree with all of that, except maybe the ECF part.

I'm gonna be devil's advocate here, because sometimes I wonder if we overrate this roster.

Hassan: Top 3 center and a max type player in free agency

Top 3 center in the East, but not in the league imo. That being said, I think Hassan has a good chance of being the best player in the series if Miami ends up beating Boston in the first round.

Deng: Very good and valuable starter. Plays the game the right way.

You could say this about like 80% of the starters in the East playoffs.

JJ: Game changing SF who does everything good. Going to be huge in the playoffs.

He doesn't do everything well...like defense.

Wade: GOAT

Well, hard to argue with this one...but we know Wade isn't dominant like the old days.

Goran: Top 5 PG in the easy, averaging 17 and 6 since all star break.

You can make that argument about every PG in the East playoffs, minus George Hill.

Can anyone please share the tiebreaker breakdown between Boston, Atlanta, and us. I know we have the head to head against Atlanta, but not against Boston. But what about Boston and Atlanta against each other?
