There is nothing good, at all, about the Thunder's design scheme. Terrible jerseys, logo, color scheme, court, mascot. Just everything about that brand is no bueno.

Guess that just goes to show you how much can be forgiven if you have 2 of the 5 most talented players in the league

I'm not thrilled about the future of the NBA but at least Kobe is out of it. The only thing sort of positive I can say about Kobe is he was talented enough in his prime to win in spite of playing the wrong way.

Who is your new team?

I don't really have one that I super duper really care about currently. I'm just glad the East isn't a joke this year. So I'm pulling for the East (except for Cleveland) and the Spurs (out of respect for the greatest Bobcat of all time, Boris Diaw).

All this talk about shortening the benches during the playoffs but in the 4 games so far, teams seem to be playing 10 or 11 deep.

I see the refs are already letting Lebron get away with shoving defenders out of his way. Dude gets away with more offensive fouls than any players I've ever watched.

SVG talking about his players being upset about calls

"They gotta understsand, Lebron is Lebron. They are not going to call offensive fouls on him. He gets to do what he wants"

LOL. Awesome.

Pistons ball movement looks excellent. Cavs defense ain't great, but the Pistons are still earning great looks and taking advantage.

I hate Lebron with a passion. Such an entitled baby. I don't know how anyone can pull for the guy. His career will be over and it will be much like Kareem Abdul Jabbar's post NBA career. Just so unlikable.

blatantly gets away with it three times in the first quarter.

almost drops on his knees after running in an Andre Drummond screen and pleading to the refs that he elbowed him.

It's very telling when you can't even play your "star" player in the closing/deciding minutes of the biggest game of the season.

the crazy part is that you totally get SVG. I'd also be scared about Drummond being out there. was shaky on defense all game as well. Aron Baynes just seems a bit more trustable in such a high-stress environment.

Even if they were ahead, you can't really play the guy who just had the worst free throw shooting season ever.

Surprising fact of the day - Andre Drummond is a terrible paint defender. Rim protection stats suggest he's barely better than Vucevic. Defensive stalwarts like Jahlil Okafor and Spencer Hawes posted better rim protection stats than Drummond.

Did not find this surprising, I thought this was a known issue.

Yeah. If you watch Detroit enough, you know that Drummond isn't a good defensive player at all.

The Mavs looked worse than we did in game 1, and won game 2. Sky isn't falling quite yet.
